On our way home from experiencing the solar eclipse in Texas, we almost left the state without getting any BBQ! Luckily, in the small town of Brownfield in West Texas, we were saved by the delicious barbeque at The BBQ Barn. The owners are hardworking and it shows in their delicious food. The pickled jalapenos were a tasty surprise! Definitely stop by for lunch when you are in the area!
Great brisket! Worth wile to grab lunch here. Don't get there too late as they do sell out.

We had brisket, chicken and sausage plate with potato salad and beans. Absolutely loved the brisket and chicken!!! I didn't try the sausage. The beans are absolutely amazing and potato salad was perfect. And on top of that- the service was great! Friendly atmosphere makes you just wanna sit and visit for hours! Can't wait to come back to try ribs! We did grab a frito pie for later- just saying.... we know it'll be great too-made with the delicious brisket and beans.Parking: We're in motorhome (towing) easy street parking all around.

Exactly what you'd expect for Texas barbecue! We got the brisket sandwiches which were very moist and flavorful. My daughter said the sausage wrap was "bussin"... very juicy, tasty. Staff is friendly and the place is clean.Parking: Easy to miss.

We visited the BBQ Barn on 02/02/2024 on our way to Wellman to support our Niece after the loss of our beloved 11 year-old grand-nephew. I only state this due to a few points the BBQ Barn was unaware of at the time, yet could see the deviation within us. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were very attentive and compassionate, and they offered us a generous discount as a gesture of sympathy. Again, they had no idea nor did we state our circumstance. I only wish we had gotten their names, but we were later told by my Niece, her and her family would eat here often.The restaurant was spacious, cozy, and clean.
The food was delicious and very satisfying. We ordered brisket and sausage. The meat was tender, juicy, and everyone loved it and wanted to know where it came from. Most were unaware of a BBQ place in Brownfield. The portions were generous, and we had enough for everyone.Overall, we had a great experience the BBQ Barn, and we appreciated their kindness and hospitality. The restaurant has a lot of strengths, such as the quality, variety, and quantity of the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the BBQ Barn to anyone looking for a hearty and comforting meal.We appreciate you guys!
