We enjoyed this place very much! We got to relax and have a nice chat over some delicious coffee. The owners are the best and they have so much to offer. The atmosphere is so relaxing. I am hoping they can get their own building one day because this coffee shop has a lot of potential. The owners are super creative.

One of only 3 coffee shops I'll go to in the lower RGV. The owners know exactly what they're doing and if you don't know what you want, they'll ask you a few questions and get a drink that is perfect for you. Wonder flavor combinations such as Tamarindo cold brew, mazagran, halo-halo, and a great assortment of teas! As a person who loves black coffee, their pour over and americanos never miss. Crystal and Ian are incredible latte artists and they always spoil me with incredible designs. If you like coffee, and I mean QUALITY espresso, check them out, you will not be disappointed!

Cute little shop inside a thrifty discount store that used to be an old Lopez supermarket. El Girasol made this corner their own with bright sunflower decor, old records, books, etc. Its apparently a popular spot with the college crowd.The folks who run it are very friendly and extremely talented. I will say I don't think I've ever seen such exquisite latte art/caps before. I've never seen a seahorse latte before and it was genuinely stunning and almost too pretty to drink.The drinks were the perfect temperature. The cortado was nice and smooth, with a bite that wasn't too acidic, and the Abuelita mocha latte was exceptional!
