Took my family over for lunch and a good experience and the service was terrible, I never had that experience before here I ordered a dry martini and they kept sending me a margarita obviously I am upset and never taking my family back here and the tip was overwhelming high 60 for a really bad service I understand they charge there fee after 6 or something people but the waiter obviously didn't deserve it was rude on top of that, I'm the type that if invite I pay for the full bill but man this made me consider splitting the bill next time and paying everything separately food was overcooked and extremely hot not in spice hot in the plate was steaming like if they just threw it in the microwave for 30 min don't go here it's just keeps getting worse and worse

We came In for dinner just after 7pm on a Monday night 4/1/24. The place only had a few cars out front. We sat at the bar. There were only about 2-3 other tables in the whole restaurant with customers. There was one other single party at the bar. At least four employees were observed. The male waiter/bartender waiting on us was not attentive to us. He never asked us how our food was, never asked us if we wanted another margarita which we did but every time we looked up he was playing on his phone. We had to ask for check and a to go box. We sat there with our plates pushed back away from us and my husbands margarita (he had no other drink) empty for 15-20 minutes. We ate here almost 2 years ago and had much better experience. Seems like the place is not doing well and the customer service is horrible. Food was “ok”. Very bland. The bathroom had no soap which makes me wonder how staff was sanitizing their hands and one of the toilets in ladies room had no toilet Lid to sit down on. It was lying on the floor.

Mixed ExperienceI recently dined at mi Pueblito and had a mixed experience. While the service was satisfactory, the same couldn't be said for the food. My friend and I ordered a toasted bolillo with beans and cheese but was served hamburger buns instead. When we brought this to the waiter's attention, he acknowledged the error but did not suggest an alternatives to make up for it.

Such good authentic food that will spoil you from eating at other Mexican restaurants. Service was top notch and friendly.
In the neighborhood while visiting Brownsville, found on the internet. Food was really good, not your standard Tex-Mex food. Grilled meats looked wonderful, they had a great looking platter for 4 with assortment of meats with leftovers. Generous portions for reasonable prices. Staff all seemed to pitch in and help each other out.

Thank God for that!Waiters have been here for such a long time, they think they have the right to treat one with “what do you want attitude”Our waiter put our drinks on the table, put bowl of lemons down and in front of us his wiped his hands on the table cloth to dry them.Owner needs to wake up and realize how bad their restaurant is getting.Sad! Sad! Sad! Never again!

The food was kind of on the expensive side, but it was delicious. I certainly would go back to eat the food again.On the other hand, service was very basic. The waitress came to take our drinks order, and she took a long time to come back. Then, she took out food order and did not come back until she brought our food. In the meantime, we had run out of chips and our drinks needed refills, but she was nowhere to be found.That became the pattern of the whole evening. There was very little interaction between the waitress and our table. She did not show us a genuine concern for us enjoying our meal and having a good time. I think most of us stopped asking for things because we knew our waitress would take a long time to come to our table.And for the sake of providing context, we were there during a cold and rainy night, so the restaurant was not busy at all (only a few tables were occupied). It did not make sense to me why she could be attentive to our table.
