Wish I could say good things about this place. The food was not good for Texas BBQ. The customer service was even worst. This place really needs help.

This is our go to for having a brisket smoked, you just can’t beat it for any get together.I used to not be a huge fan of Sticks, but the last several times we’ve gone, the brisket is out of this world. The bark is perfect. They have good customer service. We drop off and pick up easily. If you’re having an event you need to feed a lot of people, this is the way to go!Tons of parking, easy to get in and out.

BBQ restaurant. I had the pulled pork cheese fries. Plenty of moist, tender pulled pork on the fries. But. I didn't like the cheese. It just wasn't the right type for fries. It was too solid. The cake was moist.Parking: 40 spots

Never been there before, but was craving bbq . The chopped bbq was ground up and not very good. Bbq sauce was also not very good. Potato salad not very good and the red beans were hard, not cooked long enough. And if you don’t like salty don’t go there.

Heard commercials stating how good the food was at Sticks. Went through drive-thru and got 1/2 pound of sliced brisket for lunch today. Brisket was overcooked and very dry. Lot to pay for food we couldn't eat. We live 30 minutes from Sticks, so not a short trip to take it back. Also 2nd time I've gone to get pulled pork for lunch and it's not ready. Why isn't the pulled pork ready for lunch?

Can't believe it's still here. Had my lunches here in 2008 when I worked @ hospital. At that time they were new and focused on just basic smoked meats. Now they have an extensive menu (smoked turkey Reuben) and the $$ are reasonable ?.

Me and my bf got the ribs, green beans, corn and some rolls. The ribs and green beans were way to salty and the ribs were dry, the sauce was ok if u like a vinegar BBQ. The corn had no flavor(butter) and the rolls didn't seem cooked all the way they were very doughy. We were very disappointed.
Went in the other night, I had looked online and found their menu and the menu said 1 lbs. Brisket 10.00, I went in and ordered a pound of Brisket and was told that it was 26 a pound. I said that is not what it says on your website, I was told that it hasn't been updated in years, with that said I got a half pound of Brisket @ 13 a pound, it wasn't that good, it was overdone and kinda dry, definitely NOT 26 a pound good. Very disappointed and I will never go back.

If you're absolutely starving and only want "BBQ", just do without or s- it up and eat this food. I'm not telling you to not eat this place. Now, it's not horrendous;it's definitely edible. However, there are too many BBQ places that claim they have authentic BBQ, but in reality, they don't.In Brownwood, this is one of all of them.Their food is mediocre and well overpriced for what you get (quality, taste, portion size).Their customer service is good (hence the 2 stars). If I really, really want BBQ, then I'll plan to drive to Austin to get some (yes, the 2.5hr drive is worth it, as I usually do other things there). Or I'll just do without. I wouldn't recommend this place. I’m waiting for the new BBQ restaurant by the UPS to open up.
