If you have not been to Frank’s, shame on you! First, he and the staff (family) are amazing!! It’s like family. If you need a one stop shop, this is it.This place needs to be on Diners, Drive-in’s and Dives. This hole in the wall is top notch.Okay, onto the food. Yes, they have food. You can drive by and think, “is this place even open”, I think it’s on purpose because the locals don’t want to share this gem. You sit in the middle of a convenient store which is awesome!Anyway, GO! Menu looks limited, but like I said “they treat you like family”, well if you ask for something not on the menu, they will probably cook it for you. This morning we did eggs and pancakes. Wow, every time. The best pancakes west of the Mississippi! That is not a lie.Want lunch, they do that. Fish Fridays are the bomb, burgers are better than homemade, the BBQ is delicious. I literally cannot say anything but great things.Oh, if you need tape, toothpaste and deer corn while you’re there, they have that too.Go see Frank!!

This is probably the worst customer service I have ever had soda machine was down nothing worked on it and the black lady yelled at me and said it was working fine which it clearly was not working and then proceeded to mumble under her breath a bunch of stuff and yell again at me as I walked out the door my wife worked here never got her pay stubs not good business too much drama and too many people that think they're better than people when they're no different than no one else

Frank's Country Store has great food with lots of food items to choose from. Fresh ingredients, large portions, and very tasty. They have burgers, brisket, ribs, sausage, smoked turkey, fried fish, chicken fried steak, salads and much more. Highly recommend.

Just had the best hamburger I’ve had in a long time. And the fries were awesome! I made the mistake of ordering a double cheese burger and couldn’t eat it all. ?? I highly recommend their burgers and fries!

Update 6-22-2023: Lowered my rating from 5 to 3. Frank's brisket is nothing like it used to be. The last two times I've eaten here it has been very greasy, very fatty, and pretty-much tasteless. If this just happened once, I wouldn't mention it. But since it happened twice in a row, I would no longer recommend them. My rating below is from 2 years ago, and it has consistently been good for two years until recently. Not sure what changed, but something has.Frank's Country Store & BBQ is a hidden gem in the BCS area. Let me say right off the bat, as a native Texan who has eaten at a majority of the Texas Top-50 Barbecue joints, I judge all barbecue joints by their brisket. In Texas brisket is king, and if you can't smoke a brisket properly, you might as well hang it up. I really could care less about sides, as basically anything will do. And, I do like to try some sausage in most of Texas' good barbecue joints, as a lot of towns have different sausage recipes. I assume Frank's uses Slovacek sausage, since it's the king sausage of the BCS area. Frank's has some GREAT BRISKET! Nothing more to say.

Worst breakfast ever. Ordered scrambled eggs received 2 hard fried eggs chopped up, husband ordered eggs over medium, received 2 extremely hard cooked eggs, nasty greasy tasting eggs, probably cooked on dirty grill. Please do not eat there. We didn't have kitchen access today,so we thought we would try Franks. We were the only ones eating there, that should have been our sign! Would leave 0 stars if I could.

A great little family-oriented place just far enough out of a major college town that you don't have to deal with a bunch of students. Note that this is a working gas station/convenience store and the kitchen is only open until 3:00 p.m. on Mon-Thurs and is closed on Sunday. Though you can buy snacks and gas when the kitchen is closed. They smoke their own BBQ and have tremendous burgers. Their hand made onion rings are probably in the top 5 I've ever had in Texas.

Frank's is just what you would truly consider your little country store. With a couple of hogs in a fence behind and a few chickens running around. It's very small inside the store compact and homey. With a case of home baked goods like apple dumplings and apple turnovers that are super yummy. And then there's kolaches and muffins. They also serve the absolute best food. The barbecue is out of this world. Although pricey for their sandwiches, they do not skimp on the meat. You definitely get your money's worth.I just had their cheeseburger and cheese fries. It was almost more than I could eat.I definitely would recommend this place if you want that small town country feel, with good food and just the sweetest people.

Amazing BBQ! Amazing service! They catered my companies Christmas Lunch. Locals knew it was Franks Country Store & BBQ and now my out of town customers know about Franks Country Store & BBQ. They loved it! Thank you!
