I have had sushi in 12 different states, and this is the best sushi of my life. The menu is exceptionally unique, but every item is carefully crafted to be visually stunning and serve a delicious fantasy. The Bluefin Toro roll is the must scrumptious thing I have ever eaten. The bluefin tuna belly is decident, the asain pear in the roll is refreshing, and I get an endorphine high by the time I am done eating it.I normally can't handle spicy food, but the Blazing Mango roll delivers the flavor the wasabi, jalepenos, and chili tobiko (things I can never eat) without the punch of the heat. While I may be a desert snob (I reject most deserts in College Station), Kanji's black sesame ice cream is a must-have. I have never experienced an ice cream flavor quite like it, but it has become my favorite ice cream flavor.Of course the atmosphere is incredble, and the service has always been consistantly amazing. You can even do sushi making classes! In my opinion, Kanji Sushi is the best resturant in Bryan/College Station in terms of flavor, experience, service, and consistancy.
Innovative taste maker in the College Station/Bryan area. Friendly and attentive staff. Ellie was a delight. Loved dining alone here and hearing the tables next to me proclaim how good their meals were. The Bluefin Maki roll is the most unique and quality tuna based roll I’ve ever had.Love the art that’s in the space and wish there were more pieces to admire!

Terrible service. Food was okay, but for two people with a couple nigirs each it became a 300$ dinner but still waiting 25 min for water

Went on Valentine's day. Great food and price was actually cheaper than I expected. For my budget, still definitely falls into the "fancy date night" category but was very pleased with my experience. Delicious sushi rolls and great atmosphere/environment. Love it's location on Lake walk.

Had lunch with an old friend at Kanji Sushi today and it was absolutely amazing! We each got a chopped salad and shared some rolls which was the perfect balance of light and decadent at such a beautiful location.Vegetarian options: The Chopped Salad was a good entree portion and paired with some steamed edamame for some protein would make a perfect meal.Parking: There was Kanji Carry Out reserved parking; as well as, several lots around the retail center.

Ellie was an absolute angel, she took care of our every need and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our meals. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is amazing and very accommodating. 10/10 would come back.
Food was of the highest quality, our server Cameron was personably and very responsive to all our requests. Will definitely go back when we are in town.

Our waiter was Ellie, we had a big party of 10. (Lisa was part of that party.) Anyhow, we had a great time, the food was AMAZING. I recommend the Blazing Mango roll. Strange ingredients, but they WORKED amazingly well together in that roll.Ellie, and the rest of the staff did a fantastic job. Atmosphere was nice, very sharp.

This was our second time at Kanji, and we enjoyed it. We had several great rolls and desert. Our waitress Eriana recommended the creme Brule. It was unique and delicious. The Black Sesame Ice Cream was savory and sweet, definitely different.
