Ordered a couple of burgers and what we go was totally disgusting. For starters we got something we didn’t even order which would have been okay if it was good. The lettuce was old the meat was super dry and hard. 12 dollar for an old burger that doesn’t come with fries…If it was the best burger I had ever had maybe but it was NOT. This can’t be the Proudest Monkeys proudest moment. I would steer clear of this place unless you just want to waste some money

No wonder the Monkey was voted "best fries"! I had the Yuppy fries and they are fantastic!All the folks here are super friendly!There's a good selection of local beers.Will be back during my stay in Bryan, TX.Love the exposed brick walls and concrete floor coupled with bright red barstools and dark booths.

I ordered a Mexican Martini for $9.50. The glass was half full. It would not have filled up a shot glass. When I questioned our waitress she said “our martini glasses are really big”. At least trick me with a lot of ice.Then I tasted it…All lime juice. Super bitter. I passed on the food.
First time to Bryan and landed at the Proudest Monkey. First choice on Google maps and it was Awesome. We ordered Firehouse burgers and they were cooked medium to perfection. Fresh grilled jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo on a brioche bun. Bbq sauce on the side was spicy and tangy. My wife had Firehouse burger in a lettuce wrap (gluten free) and she enjoyed it as wellDelicious with a beer from a great selection of craft beer in bottle. Would rate 6 stars if it was on tap.We also had sweet potato fries, yucca and sweet plantains, cooked perfectly just like in Puerto Rico.If you are driving by Bryan don’t miss this place. Ask for Rachel. She was friendly, helpful and just a joy with great energy telling us about here favorites. We will stop by next time we are in the areaParking: Lots of Restaurants in this downtown area of Bryan. Great small town Main Street vibe!
Local here. This place has some of the best hipster tacos in town! Great staff and great drinks. Never been disappointed in their offerings. Make sure you show up before any typical meal rushes because they have very limited seating. The only times I've left disappointed is when we must leave due to lack of room.
Over all I had a Great experience here. Jose the GM and the other waiters were amazing. The environment was awesome everyone seemed to be in a good mood. Came in for happy hour. Food was fantastic! I had the espresso BBQ steak tacos and my partner had the firehouse burger and dirty fries. Everything was so good. Fast and friendly service too!

Food is good but a little pricey for a little burger. The folks working there are always nice and yes I know they dont price the menu.
