Servers deliver a great experience! Mud Bugs is a favorite. We've loved introducing our friends and family to this spot. Big bonus for lots of gluten-free options.

we were in town for an appointment. Thought we’d go close by to get crawfish. That’s what mud bugs are so we found the restaurant listed in Buddha mud bugs assuming that it serve crawfish we get to the front of the building. They have their menu outside, and there is not any crawfish on the menu, plus it’s an overpriced fancy restaurant not a Cajun restaurant misrepresented on Google or any other in online search engine, so dissatisfied that they don’t serve mud bugs

We had frunch. I couldn't find any mudbugs on the menu. I thought that was weird. I don't like fish. Try to stay away from all the deep fried stuff. Getting a hamburger at a Cajun place seems sacrilegious. So I didn't really care for it much. I got the shrimp poboy, which really wasn't bad for just a fried shrimp sandwich, but I wish there was a grilled option. Pricey and crowded. Nicely decorated though.

Very nice place. Host was nice. We made reservations but still had to wait 20 min. We sat down and the server told us right away not to get our sights set on a couple menu items. Chicken fried steak and bananas foster French toast were 86'd. My mom ordered a house bloody Mary and it was TERRIBLE. My parents vacationed in NOLA, so mom was hoping for something similar to what she had there. It was NOT. It was sweet and very bitter. Server told us it had cloves in it. We ordered beignets as an app. They were great. Entrees came quickly. Dad had no complaints on his shrimp poboy. Mom and I both had shrimp and grits. Came with three kinda small grilled shrimp (which were decent) and one fried (also good). Under that was a fried egg and a teeny scoop of cold bland grits. There was a sauce around the grits, also cold and bland. Waiter did tell us there was no punch, but since my other two choices were 86'd from menu I had no choice. Waiter was GREAT. I was super excited to eat here but won't return.

Great service. However handicapped parking too far away from entrance. Someone using a walker would have a long walk before reaching the front door.

My husband and I stopped by for an early dinner and happy hour and it was absolutely delicious! We shared a wedge salas, the meatloaf and the shrimp and grits. Everything was excellent and was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. Our waitress Kristina was awesome and the outdoor patio is a perfect place to spend a spring afternoon. Very impressed overall!

Second time there. The food was very good as the first time. Felt rushed a bit. Overall very happy. Will definitely be back. Looking forward to the weather getting better to enjoy the awesome patio.

Food is amazing! Great atmosphere for a date, or just to go eat. The service is amazing. Our server Lee made our experience one to not forget, and gives you honest opinions on the menu and wine selections. Would recommend this place to anyone.

My friend and I went to dinner at Mud Bugs last night. After seeing a thread on Facebook, I was excited to give mud bugs a try. I had only been there for lunch a long time ago. The place was packed, not unexpected on a Friday night. Our wait was an hour, also not unexpected as we didn't have a prior reservation. (BTW, based on watching how long people with reservations waited and other reviews I've seen, having an advance reservation just means that you move to the front of the line when you come in, not that you actually have a table at that time, just fyi) Our waiter, David, was attentive and friendly. Sadly, that's where the good experience ended. I ordered the Big Sexy Pasta, but the waiter explained that the chef was substituting a different dish for the night. What he described sounded good, but what I received was pasta with fatty cuts of meat, rubbery mushrooms, and overcooked shrimp in a weird sauce. I even told my friend that it seemed like the chef made a "special dish" out of ingredients that needed to be used up. And then I was charged double, $52 instead of $24 - which I was not informed about at order. Normally, I would just move on, never say anything, and just not return. But having owned several businesses previously, including a restaurant, I wouldn't want anyone else to have the experience I had.

Ridiculous. Indescribable. Best salmon dish I’ve ever had. The soulful seafood trio sent me to heaven. Bursting with flavor. This place is legit.Parking: Easy parking
