My wife and I stopped by for a tasting and to purchase a few bottles of wine. Had a great time talking with the owner Bruce about the wines and the history of the winery.Impressed with the wine and the hospitality. We will definitely be back.

I visited Sunset Winery last month. I was expecting a short stop but ended up staying for quite a while. Bruce was very welcoming and we had great conversation while tasting their lovely wines. I would highly recommend this place and will certainly be stopping back by when I am in the area.

Not what I expected when I arrived. Just a house with bottles of wine. No scenery at all. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Texas small wine. Great. Come checkout their dinners with wine samplings. Good people, good Texas wine, good food. Great prices.

Great experience learning about their wines they produce and their dedicated process to make them. I appreciate the time they took to go over details of each of the wines I tasted. It is an unpretentious environment, don't get fooled by that because the wine is the best compared to other wineries I have visited and wines I have tried.

Wonderful and knowledgeable attendant. Wide selection of wines to choose from. Learned lots of new things about wine making. Small but quaint, tasting room.

Very small but wonderful visit! Fantastic tasting with very informative descriptions.
Good wine but the place is small. It is a converted house and it shows. We bought the groupon tour our first time there. At the end of the tour, you are served several wines with the 6" frozen pizzas. It is easy to get to from the 35W. The 3 stars are from the ambiance and not the wine.

This is the best kept secret in the area and very reasonably priced. It has the look and feel of a boutique complete with everything from their Pink Ranbows to my personal favoriate, Melbec. If you have questions, Bruce and Birgit (owners) can readily explain their process and even help you with a wine tasting to discover your favorite! The staff is very much intune with the Texas industry, and I am impressed that they use only Texas grapes. Their outside deck is a relaxing area to sit and chat with old and new friends alike. I wish some of the restaurants around here carried more Texas wines, but until they do, I want to learn more, and I know Sunset Winery is where I can do just that!
