Nothing like being in your home town and having breakfast at Las Comadres! Five years since I have been here and as always it doesn't disappoint. Great atomosphere and outstanding tacos!
TL:DR: delicious food, bring cash! Hubby and I got rained out from inks lake park. We stayed at a hotel overnight and grabbed breakfast at Las Comadres. I was doubtful we would find anything as good as in San Antonio but I was wrong! This place has great homemade tortillas and salsa! Always looking for the tastiest mexican food... and we found it! beef enchilada gravy was delicious! Crispy beef taco seasoned perfectly. Refrieds, rice and tortillas were the best. We really enjoyed the very casual atmosphere. Just great food for a great price. No frills, no alcohol. We are going back tomorrow to try something else on the menu.
