The best barbecue in Burnet County! The best I've had anywhere! Randy is a fantastic cook, and does a miracle work with pork and beef, also does turkeys which are fantastic!

Decided to stop by since this was the only place close to where we were staying. I walked in to see what was offered. I spoke to Randy who immediately greeted me. I wanted to have an idea of what was served so I could tell my husband who was at spider mountain. I went to pick him up and returned, I ordered a whole chicken and a brisket sandwich. They did not disappoint. Chicken was fall of the bone and the sandwich was loaded with meat. I got 2 sodas and the first cup of beans are free. Randy took the time to talk to us, which shows how much he cares about his business . He did this with everyone who walked in. I would recommend and make this a permanent dining establishment for me when I'm in town. This place is cash only.

Good band: The Four Wisemen! Friends of ours! Needed more wait staff taking orders & helping prepare food. Atmosphere was great.Parking: Due to location of restaurant & outdoor set ups/tables/covered areas & etc, I was unaware of any formal parking lot at all.
Porky’s is a great spot to unwind, and have some great bbq with your friends and family. Great value too. Portions are generous. You won’t leave hungry!
