This place gets SUPER packed, especially during summer nights. Cars line up for their treats. I wonder what they line up for? Could it be their elotes (corn)? I haven't tried them yet. I wanted corn on the cob (elote entero) but they only had it in a cup (en vaso) the day I went. I ordered pineapple with chili powder and chamoy (a pickled fruit topping), along with a fresas con crema (strawberries and cream) and a shaved ice. Sheesh! What diet was I on? There's two things the Westside doesn't have that makes me occasionally miss other parts of EP: 1. Good Mexican food (ya'll, the best Mexican food is in the Northeast); and 2. Ice cream trucks that carry more Mexican candies than ice cream. El Chavo Elotes is essentially the latter, but it isn't mobile and I love it because that means I always know where it is... ALWAYS. Parking: Your lucky if you can get to exit that place and not almost get hit. It really doesn't have a parking area. You have to park in fort of a different building and walk over to the little 5x9 but and place you order in a windowWheelchair accessibility: I don't see any real path or walkway.
