Service was good but fajitas weren't. Maybe I'm spoiled with good fajitas but this one was dry meat and chicken. . Definelty wouldn't recommend

The service is okay. The food not so much. We all ordered tacos (Asada, Adobada, Lengua, and Pollo). Pollo was dry and tasteless. Lengua was good. Asada was okay, nothing spectacular but edible compared to others. Adobada was the worst, we couldn't even eat it. It tasted like bland and soggy tofu but looked and felt like raw/undercooked eggs. I would not recommend this place unless there is no other option or you know what is good and what isn't it.

Best Mexican food in el paso. Ladies are really nice. Food is so good, & the green salsa is bomb af! Great atmosphere. Convenient stop for truckers. Food comes hot and fresh fast! Stop here every time i come through the area. Caldo De Res on point & so is the Steak Plate! Thank u Tacos El Trokero!

The tripa tacos are so good, and the burgers. The salsa is spicy with a good flavor. Definitely going to hit them up next time I'm in town

Hey- I couldn't LEAVE this place without telling you. As a truck driver, I used to get through here every. Is and then. Haven't been through in years. So happy this place is still here. Small- AUTHENTIC taco shack. Perfect little dive. GREAT FOOD- great people. Fast. Friendly. No 5 star hi flooters in here- not necessary. Good prices. Can't really ask for more. Truck parking at TA express shop around back. Stop every chance you get. I went a little overboard- I was hungrier than an abandoned baby Lion. Ordered Chili rellenos, added a side of Langua (beef tongue). O. M. G. So chilis we're so cheesy. Tongue was roasted PERFECTLY. Few others told me how great the chicken fajitas were. I seen several combo plates I would have dove right in to. Taking 1/3 of it with me. STUFFED! Yes. Yes. And thank you!

Road trip and found this gem. Down to earth and authentic Mexican food. We had a craving for soup. I had the Albondigas (meatball) soup and hubby had the Caldo de Camaron y Pescado, (seafood soup). Plus the asada tacos a must. The salsas were hot and spicy with a great variety. We are definitely coming back!

The food was fantastic and son loved the Barbacoa tacos! The red sauce they gave us was like liquid dynamite We stuck with the green one a tiny bit milder. The Chocolate flan was delicious! The chili rellano plate was so good loved the beans and rice and omg the chili's had so much cheese in them. Two came on the plate. I have leftovers for tomorrow. If you are in the area, make a stop here! It's just across the road from truck stop and there is a huge truckers lot for parking just a few yards away. We had overnighted at Camping World down the road and saw reviews so came here for dinner.
This place is hidden, it's for the truckers mostly you can tell right away, but they welcome everyone I definitely recommend it! Always swing by if I have a load near El Paso Fast service for the most part and they also give chips and salsa !
