This place is absolutely delicious! We have loved every item we have gotten. My husband loves the Italian sandwich, and I'm partial to the salads, they are all amazing!!! Don't be in a hurry, it is a one man show. Go when you have time, and enjoy!

I can't praise My Sweet Basil enough. I've eaten there numerous times now and always leave overly impressed with some aspect of my visit. The customer service is never short of remarkable. The food is always fresh and they constantly offer something new. I bring my two toddlers with me and he even goes as far as cutting up the grapes to the right size for them. It's hands down my favorite place to eat in the area. I truly appreciate you guys.

I'm normally not a sandwich fan, but the pictures I saw on-line enticed me to try this cute little food truck in Canyon Lake. I'm so glad I tried it. I had the chicken basil sandwich, which came with homemade chips. The sandwich was like a fresh caprese sandwich on whole grain bread with chicken breast and red onion. Very tasty! The chips were thin, crispy and delicious. For a food truck in a busy parking lot, the owners have created a cute spot to relax and enjoy your food. The only thing that would make it better is something sweet on the menu to finish the meal (cookie, cupcake, etc).

I've eaten at My Sweet Basil about 10 times now and every time I have been impressed. I try to get a different item each time and I haven't had something I was disappointed with. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are prepared well, and the flavors that are created are LOUD and well thought out. I definitely recommend going with whatever their daily special is paired with a soup. Like I said, I have not had a disappointing meal here. This is the best lunch spot South of the lake. My only complaint is that I wish they were open on the weekends or evenings, but obviously minor. Other than that, this is the spot for GREAT food.

While visiting my parents in Canyon Lake, my mom and decided to grab lunch at this cute food truck that serves mostly local food with a seasonal menu. I ordered the Pork Belly and Chicken Macaroni and Cheese and homemade potato chips which were absolutely delicious! Will definitely have to stop by each time I'm in town. Also, loved the Dublin Root Beer :)
