A 15 year-old recommended it to me. Said they use brisket in their dishes. I'm five times his age. What does a 15 year-old know? Evidently a lot! The place doesn't look like a lot from the outside. Frankly it's pretty plain on the inside. Guess they saved all their explosives to invest in a good meal at a decent price. Oh, I had enchiladas... with Mexican brisket. I'll be back!
Joe Taco is legit the place for great food, drinks, and service! We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the chips/salsa to the meal and the drinks! Sangria swirl margarita was so good and the Chile relleno was perfect! We'll be back!
Got the stuffed avocado with green Chile pork and it was delicious! Even though it was a to go order, they included chips and salsa which is almost unheard of.

Been here several times, the spinach and mushroom enchiladas with the green sauce is amazing!!!! Along with a cosmo drink (Tito’s vodka with cranberry juice) Their margaritas are also really good! I love their chips and salsa they give you off the bat. Recommend this place!!

We enjoy Canyon,Tx and this is our “usual” place to stop, eat, relax and enjoy a good meal.,Great margaritas as well as martinis and other libation offerings. Chimichanga with brisket and queso is a favorite!! The trivia game is also fun to play.Parking: Parking in front and side of restaurant as well as close by on the plaza area of downtown Canyon.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. Several dining room areas- some larger than others and dogs allowed on patio (open air for warmer weather; closed in and heated for colder weather).

What a find! Camping outside Palo Duro SP and wanted to find a place to eat and watch football. Our server, Cole, gave excellent recommendations. Everything was delicious and not pricey. Highly recommend!!!
