What an awesome place, it’s like going back in time, exactly how I would imagine a soda shop would have been back in the 50s and 60s. Staff were amazing and food was delicious. Along with the memorabilia in the back of the store all over the walls and hanging from the ceiling, well WOW. Absolutely loved our time spent here. Extremely yummy frozen hot chocolate ?.

Old school soda shop setup. '70s and '80s lunch boxes and nostalgia all around! Really a cool setup. We thought we were going to walk in at 6:00 p.m. Well, as it turned out, none of us remembered the time change from Mountain Time BACK to Central Time (?). So we walked in at 7:00 hoping the place wasn't dead. There were probably still three or four groups eating dinner and enjoying dessert. So we didn't feel so bad... Although we did end up closing the place down. My daughter wanted a soft pretzel and had been talking about it for about 2 days. Well, this place has them, and they are pretty darn soft, good, salty, and delicious! I had the Alejandro sandwich at the recommendation of our server. Other people in our party ordered a burger and a salad, both delicious. Even though the food was good, the desserts are even better. Old school strawberry shake (they bring whatever did not fit in the milkshake glass still in the metal shaker ✊♥️?). Old school vanilla sundae also served in a sundae glass. Classic banana split in a banana split glass boat. Ice cream appears to be homemade or locally sourced, and delicious!! My 9-year-old got a cherry slush puppy (which I really had no idea about but she knew... Of course. ?). We came, saw, and did just about as much damage as we possibly could. If this place was around the corner, we would be in some serious trouble! If you plan to stop at the county courthouse for whatever reason, this needs to be the next stop before leaving!Parking: This location is on the west side of the courthouse Square. Parking is abundant.Kid-friendliness: This is a kid's dream. There is sugar in just about every form and fashion.

Love me tender...this shop is the embodiment of all that nostalgia should be. From the homemade chilli on the nachos to the tall cold glasses of cherry limeades the snacks are spot on. The shop sells candy from almost every era you can dream of and the decor will help you remember the Good Ol Days for sure. As if the Square in Canyon needed another reason for you to visit. The Rockin Zebra ticks off so many boxes. So grab your Poodle Skirts and leather jacket because this place will knock your Bobbie socks right off.

I happen to be in Kenyon meeting up with an old friend at Feldman's wrong way Diner. She had to leave to hit the road and I typed ice cream into the search box and found this place. I'm sure glad I did. It was a great fun experience. I just got the mud pie which is an ice cream sandwich with chocolate sauce and caramel sauce and lots of whipped cream on top Thank you Rockin Zebra for not being stingy with the whipped cream! I enjoyed it and hit the road back to Amarillo. Highly recommended old-fashioned ice cream shop.

I've gone to some pricey restaurants and gotten a bland, dry burger. I ordered one here for 9 bucks and it was delicious. Medium rare and perfect! I'm coming back!

Generally pretty good. I recommend the cristo or The Alejandro. If you have an issue, the workers usually make an effort to fix it. It does get super busy so it may take awhile to get your food.
