It has a nice vibe. The coffee was bland and the potato's were lacking flavor for sure. The hot sauce on the table was good! The service was good as well!

Love the Bennies and the avocado toast! The staff is super friendly and gave us some great tips!

There are a lot of great places to get breakfast in the area many of which are a lot closer to where we live, but we prefer Awake over every other place. The food is excellent and there are a lot healthy options on the menu. We have 2 little kids, so we appreciate how consistently great the service is and how efficient the kitchen is. It is absolutely the most kid friendly place that we've been to for breakfast.

Went in to have breakfast this morning at about 10:30 AM. Was seated quickly. We then watched the waitress take care of all the tables around for 10 minutes and never say one word to us. I would give them no stars but that's not an option. We will be enjoying breakfast at LePeep instead. This has always been a favorite place but we will be exploring other options from now on. We even said something to the manager and he just shrugged his shoulders. Sad! Too bad for the owners.

Food average at best Eggs we're supposed to be poached hard came out over well. Did not even get a chance to look at the menu and the server was asking if knew what I wanted to order. I literally sat there and listen to her tell everyone her name that she served except me. Also asked a few customers how there day was going and all I got was a menu and do I know what to eat and drink. Never came back to check on me until I was finished with my meal gave me my check and then offered me a refill. Grits bland and tasteless. Never again will I return to this place.

M and I tried Awake for the first time this weekend and we had a great experience. Our server, Jasmine (sp?), was wonderful and she was very patient with me when I told her this was our first time. I usually choose a savory option at brunch (often veering into the lunch territory), but I was hoping for both salty and sweet, and the sweet combo works so nicely for that. I ended up going with the French Toast, ordering the two eggs over easy and the pork sausage. M ordered the Hiker's Benedict with the side of potatoes. The food came out pretty quickly, which I was grateful for. The French Toast was delightful, with a fluffy interior, and I really enjoyed the pork sausage. The eggs were exactly how I wanted, with the yolk still runny but all the whites set. I added some of the house-made hot sauce to my eggs and sausages and really liked it. M's benny was a hit as well. I tried a bite and was pleasantly surprised at how smoky the ham was. The bacon was good, although I was glad that I ordered the sausage for my dish (as much as I love bacon, I am a s***** for the breakfast sausage patties). The potatoes were probably my favorite. They didn't necessarily look that crispy but oh they were. And they were well seasoned--who wants bland potatoes? So with the delicious food and Jasmine's great service, we were happy and full and ready to go. When I got up to pay our check, I found out that another couple had paid for our food! I thought this was just something that happens in movies and on TV. The couple was already gone when I found out, so I didn't even get to thank them, but It was such a nice gesture and I can't wait to pay it forward one day. We'll be back to try some more items from the breakfast menu and also the lunch combo!

Can't miss the place. Cool look for a breakfast and lunch spot. Food never disappoints. Definitely worth your time to try it out.

Service was not great, food was mediocre. Had to send back our utensils and cups twice due to lipstick marks and food residue. When we got our food she forgot our utensils, wasn't asked if we needed anything or how our food was until we were finished eating. Overall it was an alright experience.

Pretty average breakfast. The food was done correctly, just lacked much character. Portions were a bit on the small side. Service was friendly and effective, but not very engaging? This felt like a Denny's experience with better coffee and mimosa options.

Awake Carrollton was a delicious place to get breakfast. It is a popular spot and I can see why. I ordered the Hiker's Benedict and would get this again. The bacon was excellent. I will be back and would like to try the pancakes next time.

Me and my pregnant fiancé stopped in before our drive back to Louisiana. Our waitress (wish I could remember her name) was really amazing. I had the Texas skillet and my fiancé had the French toast and eggs. Food was great. The place is really bright and white and you'd think is was kind of blah but it was the complete opposite. We just sat and enjoyed the light and atmosphere for a while after we ate.
