I love this place, the porridge is so good. It's also not a crowded place. I don't live in Dallas, but every time I come visit Dallas, I always make sure to come here during my visit. The porridge is different here than all the porridge I've ever eaten. It always comes out hot and fresh, although the wait is kind of long, it's worth it once your bowl comes out. No complaints, it's a small building only run by a few staff so be patient with them. I recommend coming here during cold season, always hits the spot.

Good clean food. I preferred the tendon juk was better than the kimchi juk.

This is the person who ordered red bean porridge on the winter solstice day. I ordered for 7 people to eat with several people, but for 3 people I had to pay 98 won for extra eggs. But I was told that I added new eggs, so I got 3 or 4 new eggs. It's not a scam. What kind of red bean porridge only has 3 or 4 new eggs?If you don't add it, it's a basic number of new eggs.Everyone had leftovers and I ate since I was the one who ordered, but I was really surprised that they ran a business like this. Not again. If you don't go, you won't be able to go.I'm so disappointed

Excellent service and the kimchi oyster juk was amazing. Place is small, and it was pretty quiet but did not have to wait for seating.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. We came for lunch on this rainy day and for me, this porridge really hit the spot. I did add the little red pickled dish into the porridge which added more flavor. I do want to come back to try some other flavors. Today I had the crab and my friend had the seafood. This is a small place but it was clean and the service was fine.

I'm so glad this place stood the test of time and is still in operation. Whenever I don't feel well, this is where I pick up Juk. When my friend's father in law (Asian) was hospitalized, they did take outs regularly. My go-to is the oyster and mushrooms.

This is definitely a hidden gem! My Juk was so delicious and flavorful! The service was great and the cafe was quaint and perfect. Now I know about this place I definitely will be visiting again

drove for 40 mins here, arrived at 6:30PM, and me and my gf was told all foods to go only. We double checked the close time and it's 9:00PM.

It was probably the best soup I’ve ever had. I’m not exaggerating. They also are very generous with proportions and the food. A one-person meal could probs feed 2-3. I went alone because I wanted to do some work. There was no one there except me :(! The lady who served me was super nice. I really appreciate her service and talking to me. She also pointed the fan at me lol

Recovering from a terrible cold, I had no appetite for any food. My friend took me to this porridge place, and I had the best meal for a long time! The pumpkin porridge was really good! Sweet and creamy, and the red beans on top were tasty as well. Definitely will visit again in the fall and winter time!

Food was okay. I got the shrimp and shitake mushroom juk - there was very little shitake and it needed salt. It generally lacked in flavor. The waitress was very nice and helpful with her recommendations taking the time to explain the various ingredients included in the different juk's.

Tip: Call the restaurant if ordering to-go because it's actually cheaper this way. This is my go to place when I'm not feeling good. All the Juk flavors are good but my favorite is always the chicken. Plus the portions are HUGE. It takes me 2+ days to finish everything. For those who aren't Korean, Juk is essentially the Korean version of Vietnamese/Chinese Congee. I highly recommend ordering when you need to have a good pick me up.

Literally still thinking about this juk like a month later :)) A great meal especially when it's a little cold out or if you're feeling under the weather. The chicken juk came as a huge portion (I ate it for many meals after). The juk itself can be a little bland, but add toppings if you're craving something spicier - the mushroom bonchan and kimchi were great. Will definitely return!!
