Our first dinner in Dallas! Cho Dang is known for their soft tofu soup and they certainly did not disappoint! My vegetarian daughter ordered the veggie version, my husband ordered the seafood, and I ordered the doenjang version (spicy level 4 out of 5). Both my husband and I love SPICY food so next time will likely order a level 5/5. Reserved a private dining room to accommodate a party of 10 and it was easy. We called ahead (around 1030am) for a 545pm reservation. Being Korean American, I've grown up eating delicious Korean food and this place hits the spot. Highly recommend!

Definitely go here during early hours, or you will be waiting ! Food is amazing and priced well. I don't have any pictures but recommend the combos to be able to try more items and not spend too much money. Last visit, we tried the combo with la galbi ribs and pork tofu soup. The soup is very flavorful, and the banchan dishes are tasty. My favorite is the croaker fish, sans the bones part. The seafood pancake is also great!

I came here for dinner with a friend. It was a welcoming atmosphere and the staff was kind and attentive. We ordered the bibimbap in the hot stone bowl. It came with miso soup and a series of side dishes. The radish kimchi was the most delicious side dish I have ever had in my life. I will definitely be coming here again!

The soondubu here is amazing with tons of flavor. I didn't think much of this place when I first looked into it but once I took a sip of the broth I was pleasantly astounded. I opted for the beef and seafood option and you can definitely taste the rich seafood flavor. Cho dang was also not skimpy on the amount of seafood/beef. The banchan are plentiful and they're a good contrast when paired with the soondubu, particularly the kimchi and cucumber. The naengmyeon was also incredibly fresh and the broth was light but still flavorful. I haven't tried many other than at a kbbq restaurant and I can say this was the best one I've had. I enjoyed the vegetables and slice of apple with the noodles. Excited to come back and try more of their dishes!

I got the tofu soup (level 2) and BBQ ribs. The ribs were delicious and tender. The tofu soup was delicious too, but level 2 wasn't that spicy. I think we will try level 3 next time. The fried fish was hard to eat because of the bones. The tofu soup came with rice, which was nice.

First time here and I was impressed. This restaurant is for sure popular because customers were walking in constantly and most tables were filled shortly. The restaurant has very cozy vibes yet super clean and service was great. Our servers were attentive, fast and super friendly. I ordered a kimchi pancake and spicy cold noodles. The food taste amazing!!!! I love this place and will come back often to try more dishes on the menu!!

Food is fantastic! Every dish is so delicious! Very authentic Korean food. Atmosphere is great too. Service is a bit slow, need to ring the bell to get service and still wait a long time.

My mom wanted to eat here for her Birthday and it did not disappoint! She made the reservation ahead of time and when we arrived, admittingly no one came to us for like 5 minutes until my sister went to the counter in the back to let someone know we were here. There were a lot of other people waiting too (some checked in possibly?).Once we sat down in our room, there was a box of metal utensils and a button for service. Drinks were water, cold or hot (boricha for hot) and the banchan and food were all so delicious! Service was great because no matter who came in, they would help us out with any requests (napkins, to go boxes, etc).I would recommend this place and I am excited to try the new location in Plano across Mitsuwa!

The address suite number was wrong on their Google map! Got me looking around in the shabu place for 15 minutes. It was a very raining day too. Finally, I found the restaurant. There were other people that got lost, too. They need to put a sign or update their address. It was frustrating. Got inside, and they were kinda busy. The young guy was very nice. He told us how long wait time and keep coming and say sorry. My family got seated, and they were short staff, took about another 15 minutes of waiting, and I was ok with that. I went to the bathroom and just wanna say it was a hard time. Don't wanna explain. This restaurant looks like it has been around a long time. Need some renovations. Our server was a nice auntie. She was very patient with us ordering food. They have some combo meal. I order short ribs and a hot stone bibimbop. My daughter got the seafood soup. The banchan was not bad. I only like the cucumber salad. My bibimbop was very bland, the sunny side up egg was overcook, and the meat (bulgogi) was like 5 small pieces. The rice with mixed veggies and meat doesn't have any flavor. I pour a lot of the spicy sauce, and it still doesn't have a taste. The short rib was delicious, tho. But some of it was still raw near the fatty bone. The seafood soup was ok. I have better one at other places. Probably won't come back again

This place is chaotic. No structure whatsoever. Came in for lunch with a party of 4 and took over 10 minutes to talk to an employee to get seated. What frustrated me is that she never wrote down our party down, just verbally confirmed it. Then 5 minutes later the same employee asked if we got checked in yet. However, a group of corporate Korean employees came in after us and got seated immediately. Not saying the establishment favors based on race, but it seems suspicious. Nevertheless, our party left after wasting over 15 minutes trying to get seated and never getting put on the waitlist. Please consider fixing this issue moving forward.

Hearty meal, known for their soondubu. It's my second time coming and getting the soondubu, and the meal was as hearty as the dish size was generous. I will say there's something to eating hot pot rice with hot soup that didn't feel as good as having a cooled down bowl of rice, and I would be interested in getting something different next time. The galbi was good and I liked the banchan/free apps that came with things like acorn jelly (which I've never had before) and fried mackerel (if you ordered soondubu) The service is quick and efficient, and the spot is pretty busy, but quick-flowing traffic
