Damaris is RUDE. This isn’t an exaggeration by any means. She treated our group disgustingly. And she honestly needs to be fired.. From the second we got there, she was short, didn’t explain anything, and had a temper anytime we couldnt hear her. Rolling her eyes.We ordered soju and in the first 20 minutes of us sitting there, no altercation, she goes “Can you make room??!!!!!” With an attitude. We go “oh sorry”. And we proceed to make the room that was already there.My group and I are all servers, and are always very polite when we go out, and tipped well regardless of her attitude. But she was barking and yelling at us the entire time. Telling us to “HOLD ON!!!!!!!!!!” when we asked if we could order. Sorry, but I don’t think us trying to flag you down while we waited 30 minutes for sauce and had to ask again means you get to yell at us.Dripping oil all over the table when changing the grates, oil into our drinks. and spilled water all over my boyfriends food when he was eating. Literally saw the water spilling on my boyfriend, stopped, and then proceeded to dump even more water on PURPOSE. Yup ON PURPOSE!!! Ice and water on the table, my boyfriend, and all over his plate. No sorry, apologies, just a plate filled with water.It was CRAZY. we still said our “please” and “thank you”, stacked our plates after getting yelled at and water spilled all over the table. Why were we giving her good service lololOnly reason we didn’t call for a manager is because we didn’t want to cause a scene.

The Best Korean BBQ. Food is the top of the line for Korean BBQ joints. Variety is huge. Everything is fresh and well prep.The service was some the best we've had in a while. THE waiter was always available and anxious to please. Amazing, place an order; it seemed only seconds before it was placed for your use.The atmosphere was fast and loud. Yet it seemed everyone in our huge group could communicate easily without shouting.I have been to three Korean BBQ joints. GEN is the best.

It's been about 7 years since the last time I visited this location.I thought it was excellent back then, as I still do today.Absolutely worth the extra cost for the premium items.
Isaiah is THE BEST server I have had anywhere! The food was great, he had awesome recommendations, explained everything so well, was on top of us getting new cook tops and more food. It was great, it was my first Korean BBQ experience and I'm sure no where else will ever top this place. Isaiah rocks, if I have the pleasure of returning I hope I'll get sat in his section again!Dietary restrictions: Server asked if we had any restrictions. Servers were very attentive even though it was packed and we had a large group.Food recommendations-main dishes: any of the bulgogi, pork loin orHawaiian steakAppetizer/sides: dumplings were fantasticParking: Parking is a nightmare in general at this shopping center especially in the evenings and weekends. Expect to park a long ways away or continue circling until you catch someone backing out before the 100 other people circling notice the spot opening up.
This place looks fancy, but that's about it.. The food was horrible. It gave me horrible food poisoning. The steak was extremely tough (which was their Top Sirloin) they already had some side dishes waiting for me when I sat down, but the food looked like it was sitting there for hours. DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!!

Waiter Isaiah was on point with everything we asked him to bring. He's the only reason why I gave them 3 stars. The premium top sirloin was tough to chew. The sides were scarse. They rush you out. Too bad. I was expecting to be better.
