The chicken is always fresh and hot. The okra that I ordered was cooked fresh. I've been to this location twice. I ate inside both times and both times they put a small something extra on my plate. Definitely worth a visit!

Food has been good for a while but I went today and both meals we got had the tiniest slivers of chicken. Everything has been severely downsized from the size of the chicken to the gravy to the mash potatoes. The potatoes contains maybe 4 spoonfuls and wasn't even enough to dip my chicken into. Normally I don't even eat my roll and I'm full, but right now I finished my 4 piece tenders, mash potatoes, and roll, and in still hungry as a mf. These tenders are normally cut decently but this is like a kids meal for the price of a full blown entree.Go to Louisiana Chicken or something, it's literally one block down the road and costs less per meal for giant cuts of crispy chicken.Been eating here for a while but not anymore.

There's a Golden Chick 1 minute from me, but due to there lack of good service, fresh food, and portions, I've chosen to drive 15 minutes away from my home to dine at the Carrollton location. I'm so happy I found this location. The owner is very nice and constantly checks on his guests. I ordered the 4-piece catfish combo and they were all large and fresh pieces of fish; unlike the other and location close to my house. I will always come to this store going forward! This is also the largest and cleanest location I've ever been to. Very grateful for their very kind service!

I have frequented this Golden Chick many times to order the exact same meal every single time. Fried catfish. This last visit will be my last time because I received my order which was completely overcooked and it was not hot. Typically the fish is so fresh I could burn myself but this time no it was lukewarm and overcooked. I returned the box to them and received angry looks and rolling eyes from every single staff member! The little boy working there approached me with a smart attitude and didn’t have any good customer service skills as he as forgotten to include side notes and every single sauce ever single time! Won’t be back. I’m not a customer you can handle any ole way and expect me to come back and spend money with you. Nope. Do better and treat your customers with respect and do your job well. This location is extremely unorganized and while waiting for my corrected order I saw so much disorganized working, no communication and just a bad experience overall for many customers. Do better! Find another location.
