I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to this Venezuelan gem, Hola Cafe, last night. I had a wonderful high-value meal, full of flavor at a very reasonable price. We had the Cachapa Trio and the Cachapa Cochino. Both were pork dishes that came with a fantastic looking cornmeal pancake folded over with a cheese sauce stuffing and garnished with cheese. It could have passed in appearance as a desert. The Cochino is fried pork and the flavor is sure to please. The portion was generous. Almost shareable. The Trio was enough for a dinner and lunch the next day. While all pork options on the trio were very good, the Avacado Pork (served cold like chicken salad) was my favorite. Our server was very competent and friendly. She was able to accommodate our quirks despite my failings with the Spanish language.Highly recommended!

The food is super expensive and they add a tip of more than 20% without asking. These thieves are scammers.

I have gone twice hoping that they have improved their services but both times they have served me reheated food. If I go to a restaurant it is because I want to eat something delicious and of course hot and fresh... If you are going to do that at least heat the food well, as you are going to serve the food in less than 5 minutes and at the same time cold

I ate yesterday, I ordered a beef soup and a cachapa with pork, everything was divine, I ordered two beef soups to take away the only bad thing was that the meat was not ribs, it was black roast meat, but the one I ate at the restaurant was rib, Don't sell rib soup if you're going to add roast meat.

I have lived in Carrollton 10 years and always try to give local businesses a chance , this place is kind of shady, I think they don’t understand what We expect, they request cash , impose tips, I felt uncomfortable, why cash? We all must pay taxes to help Carrollton and Texas , wont return.

A rude waitress they have, who is Mexican from Durango. We do not ask for free, and we believe that respect for customers should be above anything. Regrettable!

The arepas here are LIT. Will definitely come back. Yeah the servers don’t speak English, but that’s what you have google for.Dietary restrictions: Arepas are gluten free!!!!! They have cheese though so bring a lactaid if you need it.

It is the type of Venezuelan restaurant, very bad customer services, very bad. You need a translator to communicate with you to order, the quality of food that I ordered, the sweet and very greasy empanadas, the only good thing are the Pasteles or littlepastries whit meat, I will not return, I paid a lot of money for What I bought, I felt that I was in Venezuela because of the prices. I prefer to continue with American or Mexican restaurants that are known for quality and customer service, I won't go back

I'll give it 2 stars because the food was delicious, but when I looked at my bank account today, my check that had been $41 - around $33 with an approximate $8 tip - came through my bank account for almost $75.Completely unacceptable and because I do not speak the same language as the people in the restaurant, I cannot get any resolution on this.
