My family used to eat here frequently but stopped going since their price was way too high compared to other Korean Chinese restaurant. Yes, everything is expensive these days, but tangsuyuk should not be $19.99 for the amount that they give. BBQ jjam pong was $17.99 (not sure if this is correct as of now), and I think that is too much. If the restaurant itself was on a higher end ambiance, it may work, but for order-at-the-counter kinda place, I think their price point is too high. I like their jjampong, but not really a fan of their jjajangmyun. My kids love it though. Tangsuyuk is also very good and have great texture. The owner always tells us that they don't use MSG, and so it is good for you. Knowing how these sauces are made, not sure if that is true. haha. But definitely, the owner has pride in his food, which is good. He is a friendly soul, but I can see how he can come across as a little aggressive and "too much". He was always nice to my kiddos and even gave us extra small jjajangmyun when we dined as a family. I sometimes felt uncomfortable with his "small talks", but my husband handled him very well lol. Overall, 3 stars. Will I dine here again? Not sure. It looks like they are not even open for dinner anymore.

I have stopped in twice and ordered two different items. Both were ok, but nothing to rave about Service was good, but felt like staff doing me a favor being there. Not a warm and fuzzy welcome Eating area was clean as were the restrooms Ambience. Kidding. Fast food restaurant

Stumbled upon this very authentic Korean noodle shop that was open on Thanksgiving! Order at the front, and pick up your food when it's ready. I got the combo to try their two most popular noodle dishes - the seafood noodle soup was just the right amount of spicy but so delicious! The zha jiang mian was sweet and the noodles were so chewy! Quickly became one of my favorite noodle shops and I will return!

Ordered the jampong and jajang combo. The noodle texture were on point , the black bean sauce was flavorful and not heavy like other ones I've had before. Jampong was not spicy, at least for me, and it had a good, not stingy amount of seafood. Will come back again!

This is first time been this restaurant. Tried both noodles. The spicy noodle soup ia the best so far. I tried a lot another restaurant. The black noodle is very good too. Normally we will order the fried pork dishs, But the price is too much for it. I will go back to eat again.

I always stop by paiks noodle next to hmart when I'm craving jjamppong and ttangsuyuk but decided to stop by kyodong to give it a try. Ordered the half jjamppong and jjajangmyun to taste test both. Jjajangmyun was ok and jjamppong was meh. It had no jjamppong fragrance or the taste that makes it good. The sauce for the ttangsuyuk was too watery and overall, the taste for all 3 was 2.5/5.

This place is very good! I love their jja jang myun and tang soo yook! The owner is very kind and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend. One thing to note is the recent change in hours, however. They close at 4pm daily now.

I've only ever eaten To go but I've always enjoyed what I've gotten. I feel like the owner is always there to greet folks which is nice. It's probably not their fault but the menus posted on yelp etc are not up to date with what they're currently serving so that can be a bit confusing when trying to decide what to order before I get there.

So glad to have this place finally open again. We tried many Jjangmeon from other places but nothing is as good as Kyodong. Their Jjangmeon and Jjampong are our favorite. Service is wonderful and fast. The gentleman who took our order was very nice and he gave our son a hot wheels car for finishing his meal 감사합니다

Great food, terrible service. Food would be a 5 star, and service is a 1 star. I’ll settle on a 2 star because we were extremely turned off by the service. Have been multiple times and thought the owner (male) was joking when he hovered around the table and told my wife to make sure to pick up all the food off of the floor after our kids. But when it happened a second time, it was apparent that it was not a joke. Haven’t been back since despite his food being really good. Our kids aren’t messy by any stretch of the imagination but if you’re that worried about the floors getting dirty, then you should probably just make your restaurant a To Go or drive through restaurant only.

Amazing food, and the owner was absolutely incredible. You can tell this restaurant is a labor of love, and the food is his passion. I’d recommend the dish that has both of their signature meals 50/50.

The shrimp in my rice was super tiny and usually when I order fried rice, They fill the whole plate up anywhere else. The soup they gave me was gross, overall I feel sick to my stomach right now. I usually don't review but I had to set up an account to let everyone know it wasn't worth the $16 I paid for a plate.
