We came for an early dinner and ordered Seafood Pancake, Stir-Fried Udon, Grilled Mackerel Bento box, Udon with Fish Cake, Beef Bulgogi, Pork Katsu, Japchae, and Ddeokbokki w/ Ramen Noodle. The food was good. You have to order food at the kiosk. There's nobody behind the counter normally. The food came out fairly quickly.

Services good, half self(?), clean... Lots of parking

Quiet little place. The prices are a bit high but that's because they give you an insane amount of food. Bring your family and share!

Maybe the best Korean restaurant I've ever had. Very tasty.

Delicious! Inside is clean and simple. I love the kiosk for ease of ordering. They have complimentary hot barley tea and water for customers. The food came out piping hot, the wait was not too long, it was as expected for freshly prepared food. We had the kimchi stew, spicy squid bento box and seafood pancake. We ordered the squid “spicy” for spice level, it had a good kick and was full of flavor. We typically order “spicy” at other ethnic restaurants (Indian, Thai, Sri Lankan) and this was a nice level of heat for us. The seafood pancake is to die for, crispy and filled with fresh ingredients. We ordered the small and it was plenty big for two of us. We ended up taking a good portion of our entrees home as they have very generous servings. The kimchi stew was piping hot, tender pieces of pork and tofu with a very flavorful spicy broth. It’s a perfect dish for a cold day. The side dishes had a great variety and were all tasty. This was worth the drive for us. We love supporting family ran businesses! We saw “mom” come out of the kitchen later in the evening, it really is home cooked food. We can’t wait to return to try more of their dishes.

Lovely, open, and spotlessly clean. I enjoyed the shrimp tempura and dumplings. I have not yet acquired a taste for the large pieces of squid tempura that were part of the combo I ordered. I'm a newbie with Korean food. I would love to go here again and learn more.

Always great food, quick service and open seating in a clean environment! Never a disappointment, every item on the menu proves it's namesakes worthiness from "Mom's Kitchen"! Mashiseo!!!

Me and my Wife were both stationed in Korea twice, and ate authentic Korean food weekly. Sorry to say this isn't it. Not worth the price, and their chicken bulgogi was definitely not as tasty as I expected. The soup had no flavor, and the shrimp tempura was really doughy, and no flavor. Nice people, but not so great food.

Wow. Was this place good. I got the bulgogi bento box. It was a lovely assortment of Spicy meat, kimchi, miso, dumpling and shrimp tempura (fried perfectly). You really do get the impression that mom is in the kitchen making this delicious meal. Everything was fresh and hot from the stove. This place is a gem

Absolutely amazing and top notch! Loved the simplicity of the place. The food fridge take a while to come out but it was so worth the wait. We drove from frisco to Carrollton for the food and would definitely do it again. We ordered tofu stew and tofu bibimbap and both the dishes were flavorful and delicious!

Craved a bento box, did a quick Google search, and landed on this spot. The interior's quite nice - almost has a nice cafe kinda vibe with chill music playing overhead. Feels very clean and you can order off the screen or with the staff. The wait was a while - 30min, but I get it since there's a handful of staff. The beef bulgogi box came out nicely organized and I gotta say, my first impression was how nice the beef portion was. It's practically overflowing the compartment it's in, and from the initial looks of it it did seem like a lot! I also really love the variety, from the tempura to varied veggies to miso soup. All of the box was flavorful. The beef isn't too sweet which I really appreciate, the rice is well steamed, and the veggies have a sharp contrast pickled taste that really change up your palate. 10min in, and I was still working through all the beef. Definitely solid portion size! For $15, great value and taste. Met the bento box craving very well. :) PROS: - nice and clean feeling interior, with chill music playing - easy to order process - bento box portion size is great, beef bulgogi is seasoned well, and nice variety in the box - price points are pretty good CONS: - medium longish wait for the food

Small family owned and run Korean casual spot. Great vibe and service! Kalbi and bulgogi were delicious!

The interior of Mom's Kitchen almost made me feel like I was in IKEA. The owners are very friendly. I tried the fish cake udon and took some kimbap to go. The udon was a generous portion which I couldn't finish - nice comfort food even though it was a hot summer day. The kimbap was still good the next day for lunch though I'm sure it would've been better fresh.

We came here perhaps 2-3 yrs ago, before covid. During weekday. Strangely there wasn't anyone here, not even behind the counter so we just left. Last weekend we came back and used the machine to order. I love the machine, it minimizes human interaction. Given these days are covid days and monkeypox days. Kimbap was good and fresh. Mackerel bento was just ok. Nothing exciting. Tofu soup also nothing exciting: it wasn't spicy at all , they need to make it a little spicy.

Second time coming here and I can't believe I forgot to leave a review last time. When I moved to Dallas from LA I was unsure if I'd find a really good Korean place. Well after lots of trial and error I found it! The place is spacious, clean (smells so good), the classic music, you can just feel the positive energy in there. They have a machine where you order from which I love because I hate going to counters and not knowing what to order and then having the person to wait on my indecisive self. You click on your items, pay, and then the food is brought to you once it's ready. I ordered the Bibimbap both times and also recommend their shrimp that's on their appetizer menu. I drive 25 minutes to this place so when I say that it's delicious, trust me :)
