Best bathhouse in Dallas

I wish there had been a more detailed review for me, so I'm hoping I can flesh out the details for someone else.First let me say that I had a good visit and it was a new experience I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. I am not sorry I went. The facility was clean, the staff was helpful and explained everything, and I didn't have to look at too many naked people. I probably would not bring a teenage boy or girl. Little ones might be okay. Just be prepared that there are a lot of towel wrapped people that sometimes walk around without the towels. It's part of the culture. Just be expecting it. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would probably go again. The food was really amazing. Even if you don't go for the bath house, go for the food .Now for the opportunities for improvement. I'm not a huge person but I do wear a 2x or 3x shirt. The robes really only fit a 1x person, even the men's robes. So bring your own robe. Also bring flip flops. There are 3 rooms. The day I went only one was open. And it was the hottest one that I personally could not stay in for more than 10 min. I went in twice and that was it. So I really felt like it wasn't a good expense of 70 dollars per person for 20 min in the room. The cold plunge is only available if you are willing to go naked. I think they should allow bathing suits. This disappointed me.The overall atmosphere is nice and friendly but it's hot. The day I went the seating area where you end up spending most of your time was about 80 degrees. There is no way to really cool off unless you go into the cold plunge or take a cold shower. The showers are all coed by the way. They do have curtains so there is some privacy, but you will see some naked people coming in and out. I only saw naked men. There were only 4 women there and all of them were in bathing suits.I would go again when all the rooms are available. It is a unique experience.

It's been ten years since I had food like this, and everything was authentic and delicious! My wife loved the goluptsi, pelmeni, and borsch. The bread that came with the borsch was thick, just like it should be. I would 100% recommend ordering the pelmeni in broth as opposed to plain, especially if your party has more American palates. I cannot recommend the borsch enough; it felt so familiar. If you're not familiar with things, just say 'yes' if they ask if you want sour cream with your dish. It's part of the cuisine. Most of the time, you're meant to dip stuff in the sour cream, but if you get borsch, then you should put the sour cream in the soup (probably use about half of what they give you to start.)If you have very large appetites, then I would recommend ordering 1.5 entrees per person, as the portions here are large but not huge. This isn't one of those places that expects every person to take half their plate home in a doggy bag.Kompot is good even to order a pitcher. For Kvas, I would order one glass to try before even ordering two glasses, let alone a pitcher, since it has a very strong flavor that only some people like at first.

Huge oven. They burn with real wood. The flavors are fantastic. Signature tea from the owner of the establishment. Birch brooms, aromatherapy, massage and much more.Incredibly delicious, homemade food. Cooked by a cook who escaped from Mariupol. But the most important thing is the local community. They gather, communicate, get to know each other. More Americans. There are slightly fewer of those who have been in America for many years and even the accent has disappeared. The atmosphere is very warm, friendly, open and free. I've seen similar gatherings in films. But for the first time in life... A very interesting experience. I rested my body and soul.

My wife and I came all the way from DC to go here, and we plan on going back as soon as we can! That's how good this place is. More than that, the people there are fantastic and super welcoming to newcomers. Make sure to get a massage from Azat while you're there too - he'll make sure to get out all the back cracks you ever want!

A great place to wash and warm up in various steam rooms, have a massage and consolidate the effect with aromatherapy. There is also delicious homemade food and drinks, including Misha's tea. I recommend!

This place is awesome easy way to relax. I literally was having a checked day and just needed to refresh my mind. Few minutes in the sauna and a quick jump in the cold plung my was clear; thank you guys.
