I recently tried the Shinwari Karahi Chicken at Shinwari Kitchen and was a bit disappointed. The dish seemed to be nothing but a tomato ketchup base with very very few spices, resulting in a tangy taste that wasn't quite what I expected. Additionally, the chicken pieces were very hard and chewy, which further detracted from the overall experience. However, I found the Shinwari Karahi Goat to be much more flavorful in comparison. On the bright side, the Afghani Naan was quite good. Overall, while there were some highlights, the lack of depth in the chicken dish and the tough texture of the chicken made for a less satisfying experience.

The BEST food and the KINDEST people. I had the most amazing meal I’ve had in the DFW area, and the portions were so big!! I highly recommend the chicken malai boti skewer and beef tikka skewer. Their naan is also top notch!! Please visit this incredible restaurant.
