Not bad overall... I like the sides, soup, and service all better at Doma. Was excited to try this place so maybe that's why it was a letdown ‍

Need some warm soup on a chilly day? Soup that's smooth and filling? This is the place! If you want good Korean Seolleongtang highly recommend this place. Reasonable pricing too. Order at the front counter. Pick up your order when your order number is called. Bowl is soup is placed on a metal tray with kimchi, kimchi radish, and scoop your own rice (pack as much as you want!). There's a little bar at the front counter you can refill on kimchi and scallions. There's other item will have to return and try out!

Basing this review on the regular seollungtang that I've tried a couple times from here now. Easily putting it in my favorite seollungtang list in carrollton. I like the self serve aspect, they will bring the soup out directly to your table, but you fetch your own rice/sides/sauces. The ordering kiosk works well and is also very convenient. Restaurant itself is very aesthetic and clean. The broth is very hearty and rich, they give a good amount of tender meat as well. I also ordered takeout seullungtang from here and they pack it very nicely, everything is separated out properly and they nicely pack every side, rice, sauce, green onion, etc. Super great experience. This will be my go to place for this dish.

**This place is in the corner right next to a salon (?). The sign is written in Korean.**The soup was very delicious and comforting!! Rice and kimchi refills are free!!! Price is affordable. Ordering at kiosk and you'll get called by number on the receipt. Will be coming back often whenever I'm at Carrollton.

Over priced and the seolleontang was flavorless and the galbijim was a bit rubbery. The wife and I both had the seolleontang and a galbijim order to share, right at $80. Disappointing

Happy that another seolleongtang has opened up even closer to me. One of my most favorite Korean meals. The hot soup is perfect for when you are feeling sick as it is light and clear. If you aren't familiar with eating this, you are supposed to add salt and pepper to the soup yourself to adjust the taste to your liking. The slices of beef here are plenty although one of my visits did have much less than other times. They taste great with the accompanying dipping sauce. Kimchi here is fresh and less sour which I like better.Price is really cheap right now too so I have been going more frequently here while it lasts. We also tried the kalbi jjim and the short ribs were really soft and tastes good, though a bit too sweet for me. The rice cakes were huge but only contains 2 for the small size. Although with the price being so high, I think I can safely pass on this after the first try.

This is one of many recently opened Korean concepts by the same proprietor, and it does not disappoint. The seolleontang is milky, rich, and hearty to warm the soul. The kimchi is definitely elevated and tastes more funky than other restaurants in a good way.Ordering on the kiosk at the front is very convenient and reminds me of a recent visit to Seoul, where many restaurants offer the same. As with many other Korean restaurants, they have water dispensers (both hot and cool) as well as barley tea. You self-serve with the metal trays to collect rice and kimchi before sitting down to wait for your soup.

Pretty solid seolleongtang option in Carrollton. You self-order at the kiosk and wait for your number to be called. It is a little confusing because the differences in the soups are not clear and the pictures are the same. We got the mixed ox bone and the beef bone soup. You scoop the rice yourself and the ladies give you the banchan/kimchi and then they bring the soup to you.The soup itself was pretty good but not amazing. There was less meat than I was expecting and it was thinner strips but I guess I can't complain cause the prices are really good. Not really clear what difference the beef bone soup is as I was kind of expecting an actual beef bone in there but it only had strips of beef. It's a solid, no-frills, and affordable Korean option.

I like both the taste of the food and the price. Rice and kimchi are free refills. Green onion kimchi is really delicious. I ordered ox knee soup and there was a lot of knee in it. I also recommend green onion pancakes. I hope it continues to taste this good.

They got the best kimchi in Dallas! Their soup was also amazing with good quantities of meat. Everything was self-service, including the kimchi. They sell their kimchi and soup to-go so you gotta try it!

Cute/spacious atmosphere. You order on a machine when you get there (super easy to use). You get a number on your receipt and they will call it out when you get there. The tray initially comes with 3 sides (kimchi, radish kimchi, and green onion kimchi). Rice is self serve where you pick up your order. And there is a spot for side refills if needed. The regular kimchi was delicious. I typically don't eat green onion kimchi so I can't judge that. The radish kimchi was disappointing- it wasn't crunchy, but very soft. I typically would rather have them crunchy. The mix ox bone soup was very underwhelming. It came with a couple strands of clear glass noodles. Barely enough for 2 spoon fulls. The broth wasn't that great either, I've had better. I honestly wouldn't come back here sadly. It just wasn't as good as other seolleongtang places in the area.
