Lucky to find Yupdduk in DFW. I actually had it last week in LA and became a fan. Now I can have it here! The real good news? I think the one here is better in taste.

This is my gf’s favorite place, she is from Korea and YD reminds her of home.

The flavor is pretty good. The sausage and cheese is a great addition. Sometimes the rice cakes are too squishy.

My husband and I randomly walked into this place for lunch while out and about. While we didn't know what Tteobokki was, the service and food was absolutely amazing!! The cashier there was super friendly and offered things for us to try. He was also super patient when we were trying to figure out what to order as we never had this food before. We highly recommend this place!

Yea, do not try this place. Read the reviews and hesitated but chose to give it a chance. See why ppl gave one star. Living in LA and moving here and trying the dallas location, this place really need improvement. This is basically a soup. It is too watery. The rice cakes are too soggy and not chewy. Sausages were undercooked. . . .

I always order take out and the spicy rice cakes are packaged well in the round containers. This place is known for their spicy rice cakes but if you can't handle spice they offer the mild no spice, too.

Having tried the yupdduk in LA, it is safe to say this is different and not in a good way. The sauce is watery which is awful and the sausage is taste like the cheap kind sold in the Asian store. They don’t even make the effort to roll the tuna Mayo rice ball. Disappointed.

I haven’t eaten Yupduckk for five years and have always craved for it since I moved here from Korea. Glad to find this place, but it gave me a big disappointment. The sauce was not at all close to the original and the worst part was the texture of the rice cakes. They’re slippery and rubbery. The quality of fish cake and sausage were also low. Even one dollar Dukkbokki on the street will be better than this.

Very spicy but the best rice cake!!!

I had this in korea and was excited to try it in Dallas for the first time. It didn't taste exactly the same but it is probably the best rice cakes around korea town. Get the Chinese flat noodles if you add noodles and if you like thick noodles. The fried side dishes and rice balls were underwhelming. I wouldn't get those again. But I would come back just for rice cakes.

Huge portion, enough for at least 3-4 people. Very spicy but it's an enjoyable spice.

Overpriced and not much food. Better as a late night drinking spot than a dinner place unless you want to spend about 100 for 2 people
