We put in a large takeout order during the busy eclipse weekend and everything we got was super delicious. If I lived in the DFW area this would for sure be my go-to place for Mexican!

Unfortunately this was the worst Tex-Mex food Ive ever ate in DFW. Never returning. Firstly, I called twice to place the order but no one answered. So I walked into restaurant & no one came to greet. There was 1 table seated in the ENTIRE restaurant & it looked like 1 server. This was Tuesday afternoon. Marco was kind & took my order. The food came out within 5minutes. Tells me most of it was already cooked and sitting there. ?The restaurant was also dirty. Bar area was not swept.Food was the worst thing about this restaurant. We ordered the appetizers Zocados Roll chicken & chicken faijtas nachos & entree La Chimichanga with chicken. Every single item was bland & boring. The look alone will turn you off. The chicken isnt flavorful or spicy at all. The guac was flavorless. The queso also tasted flavorless like I drank water. I dont even understand what the Zocados roll was imitating. I was thinking similar to sushi roll but it tasted like a bland wrap. Wasnt able to eat any of our food to completion, it belonged in the trash. Very disappointed. We called asking for a manager just to make them aware that this was bad food. But of course no manager was present & we were told the manager would be in later this evening. Its already 6pm and they close at 9. It makes sense tho. This establishment has potential but theres no effort put in and customers can taste that. Listen to the recent reviewers and avoid this place.Its also super expensive for such awful food. The chimi was $16.99. Apps were around $15. Portions were also not as much for the price youre paying.

The food was B-L-A-N-D.. I love TexMex, but the chicken from here has no flavor. Highly disappointed since we chose this place for its reviews and ratings. I was excited to come home to eat this food, and when i tasted my la chimichuna, SUPER BLAND. We also ordered the appetizer roll, horrible. The chicken nachos, bland chicken. I think they rushed the order, to be honest.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This is not even Tex-Mex, it’s below. The Mexican cocktail was made with ketchup?! And the queso was something out of a can. It’s definitely not authentic Mexican food. The waitress hardly came back to our table and overall was slow.

This is a hit or miss place. Went Saturday before Superbowl and place was pretty empty..service and food all ok+The following Friday evening was a nightmare ..terrible service. No bartender. After 20 minutes we chased someone down to ask what was the hold up. Turns out whoever was supposed to be the boss that evening had forgotten to assign our table to someone. Then he gave us to the sweetest but most un trained waitress. They expected her to make drinkes too ..she had no clue how to do that. We felt very sorry for her and asked for manager...turns out he had left.Then the endless wait for Bill. Definitely won't be back
I love, love, love! The food and the staff are wonderful. I have eaten at Zocados on different days as well as different times of the day, and the experience is always outstanding.

Well, where to start. As far as the food goes, it was good if you like TeX-Mex. I think I would go back and pay with cash, with that being said! I paid with my credit card and left a tip for the crappie service, and that dude had an attitude problem. I thought it was me, but my coworkers also noticed it.Well, as I checked my statement the following week, I saw my total purchase was just over 30.00 dollars when I ALWAYS take pictures of my receipts, and my total that day with tip was just over 25 bucks. I guess someone took the liberty and added an additional 5.00 more of tips. I will be the bigger adult and let it fly, but I'm going to make sure everyone who reads this post knows that someone in that establishment is changing totals and beware.Sad to say that this place has a lot of potential, but sorry @$$ workers taking advantage of hard working people. If management wants to see proof, leave your info in this message, and I'll stop by and show you the picture of my receipt.

My memory of Zocados and the reality of my last visit clash tremendously. I was excited to return but, in the end, this time I was terribly disappointed. My wife said "worst margarita ever". My cup of chili con queso turned into a gooey mess within a matter of minutes. My beef enchilada was at best "ok" and the soft cheese taco was certainly nothing to rave about. Service - it appeared to me that there was one waitress managing about 12 tables and she was doing her best to manage but management should know this is unacceptable.I love my Tex Mex and once upon a time this place would have earned a 5 star from me but not this time and I figure I won't be back anytime soon.
