Great smoke flavor in the brisket. Very tasty sides. Fried okra was some of the best I've ever had. BBQ sauce needs a little work. The building interior is a bit dated and worn.

Been here previously for lunch a few months back and it was decent. Most recently, today, August 23rd and had an early dinner. Today was not good at all. The brisket was dry, no moisture whatsoever and over cook. It looked and tasted like it was old and just reheated for our dinner. They were out of some soft drinks and the restrooms were nasty. I doubt we will return.

I used to live in Cedar Park over a decade ago. Now I’m about 30 min away. I always stop by here for breakfast tacos anytime I’m in the area. The value and quality can’t be beat. $2.99 for a migas taco that is HUGE! I had it on corn and it filled two corn tortillas and spilled over onto the plate. It is the size of at least 2 tacos elsewhere. My husband got the brisket and egg for $3.69, and same thing, it was gigantic and so good. He normally gets at least 2 breakfast tacos but doesn’t need to here. Their tea is great and they have a good salsa bar.

I was a little disappointed, we were there for the first time at the Cedar Park location and the only ones in the restaurant. I had pulled pork with pinto beans and FF. I was disappointed at the quality of the meat, very dry, a lot of fat and gristle. I've had better.

Amazing migas taco! I love them! Not to mention one taco for roughly $3.50 is the size of an entire plate. Equal to 4 normal sized tacos! The burgers are the absolute best around also!

I've been coming here for years and it's always been a great experience. The staff is amazing and the food is fantastic! Highly recommend stopping by and getting some of their optionsKid-friendliness: A lot of great options that cater to children. while there could be more with the kids' menu, it's still a great array of options.

I honestly have only ever ordered a burger here, so my review is based solely on that fact. J&J BBQ has become my go-to burger spot, and I am 100% satisfied with their burgers and fries. You would be surprised at how hard it is to find a good burger in the area, but J&J BBQ has the best.

Hotter inside than outside, about 97 degrees. Maybe a/c was broke maybe it’s always this way, idk.Inside everything is really outdated but not in a cool funky way. It’s outdated in like a no maintenance way. There where flies all over the completely open bar area which had butter and other items with flies on them. I needed a shower after just walking in the building. The bathroom was a wreck. All of this could be remedied over a weekend but looks like that’s not in the cards. You can order breakfast any time which is why we drive 35 minutes to get here through horrible traffic. Sadly, the eggs here dry and the sausage was a brick.Burger and fries where ok. Nothing special but a decent choice if you find your self here.Service…well, the girl working the counter was nice but extremely quite with headphones on. She never greeted us or asked if she could help and we made it clear we had never eaten here. With just a little training she would be fine but who knows if there is even a manager here?Overall the uncomfortable inside temperature & cleanliness where the biggest issues. Oh and the tv’s were on the news pumping out negative story after negative story while people tried to enjoy the company at their table. Turn off the tv, we have those at home. They are fine in a sports bar or if a local game is on but the news, urg.I won’t be back but I wish them the best.

OK place to eat maybe to go is best. I have eaten here prob 40 times. I have eaten most of the meals they serve. The area where you sit and eat or most importantly the bathrooms are absolutely horrible where toilet seats are falling off and smell like they have never been cleaned. To me they need someone to get in there and clean and make it more welcoming for the atmosphere and please clean the bathrooms they are absolutely horrible .

Quiet place to go to on a weekday afternoon. Amazing BBQ chicken, brisket and turkey!!! Best I've had in a few years and it's better than the original Salt Lick out in Driftwood. Very comparable to Milt's before they moved to San Antonio!Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who goes through Cedar Park!!!Kid-friendliness: Blue Bell Ice cream options! Peach cobbler

This is a must-stop for a Texas BBQ experience. Why they Stood Out:✅Brisket, was so tender and juicy and the flavoring was perfect, not overly powering where it takes away from the meat, but just perfect.✅The mashed potatoes and gravy were AMAZING✅The topping for everything were setup in a bar-style self-serve which takes the stress out of ordering.✅Friendliness was top notch. They answered questions, gave suggestions, and even engaged in fun conversation .✅Ice cream for the kidsAll 6 of us left happy and with full and satisfied bellies!

Spent nearly $70, Got the beef rib plate to go with a pound of brisket, the two sides were very small. The beef ribs had no meat and was burnt. The brisket was dry, the mashed potatoes, and the pinto beans had no flavor and last several times I went there for breakfast tacos. I got the bacon, potato egg and cheese tacos and the bacon was burnt. This place used to be really good and my go to spot but now I don’t want to go back anymore.

It's a great place for Chicken, Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The place is awesome, people are friendly and the food is awesome, could use just some renovation, doesn't have to be walls or major. And I just can't explain the best BBQ smell

This place has always been hit & miss. We just ate their tonight. This is the 2nd time in 5 years we have eaten here. We stopped eating here because the brisket was terrible. We tried here a month ago, and the brisket was great. Tonight wasn't great. The brisket was too lean & some of it was just dry. I will not eat here again. I will go down the street to eat BBQ!
