In town for the weekend and before heading back to Houston, we stopped in for some breakfast. I'm so glad we did. The restaurant was clean, they have plenty of parking and they are reasonably priced. Everything is locally sourced. The service and food were all spectacular. Our waiter Christain was very accommodating to our large party and gave excellent recommendations. He was very attentive and made the dining experience a pleasurable one. My friend and I split the breakfast sandwich and the chicken and biscuits. The biscuits were fluffy, and the chicken was fried to perfection and seasoned very well. The bun on the breakfast sandwich was toasted warm and super soft. Not pictured, but the silver dollar pancakes are sweet and fluffy and don't need syrup. For only $4 add them to your meal you won't be mad. Drinks Sangria margarita 10/10 Black cherry margarita 10/10 Both were delicious and strong. I'll be sure to stop back when I'm in town. My suggestions are to make reservations or get on the wait list

My biggest problem with this place is that there isn't one closer to Abilene. I went there for lunch with a friend for the first time, and it is absolutely wonderful. I don't care for pimento cheese, but theirs is simply amazing. I had the pesto crab stuffed chicken breast, and it was so good! I also tried a bite of my friend's chicken fried steak which was killer. I found out they have a cookbook which I am now on the hunt for. In regards to service, my waitress was sassy, fun, and took care of us. Also I have to mention that the prices at this place are exceptional for the product you receive. I can't wait to go back!

My girlfriend and I come to this location 2-3 times a week, always sit at the bar, and have never once had our ID’s checked. Tonight they recognized us, and asked for our ID, I didn’t have mine as I only have an email with my temporary one. The guy at the bar said it has to be the actual photo ID and that his bar manager won’t approve it. Then proceeded to serve countless drinks without asking for a single ID. We asked for the GM and he came out and said that it is strictly up to them who they chose to Id and that we look young. Then came back out and said they would serve us anyways, and we asked why it is such a big problem since we have never been asked to show ID anytime before and we come there multiple times a week, The GM Ben was very unprofessional and huffed and puffed and raised his voice and said all we should be saying is thank you to them for still wanting to serve us and that we were being rude, when all we were asking for is clarification on why we were the only ones at the bar getting asked to show an ID. He said now we for sure aren’t having a drink and stormed off, then came back and basically was telling us to leave and that he would just take care of our order, we told him we don’t mind paying, we just said it’s wrong to only ask one person at the bar for an Id and nobody else especially when the bartenders always remember us and talk to us. His last comment was that they surely wont forget us now.

Know that this is a 1st, 100%, 5 star rating that I have ever posted!The Spinach Gorgonzola Ravioli was absolutely stunning in presentation, and provided an Om ?️ bite w/every fork filled journey… & Don’t even get me started on their habanero sauce.Sweet~heat never tasted so good ?And the interior finish out, felt right at homeLove y’all, JackAllen’s & crew!TTFN, until next time ?Kid-friendliness: My son is a type 1 diabetic; and the general manager went out of his way to gather info inference to the carb count for my son’s meal. That makes a huge impact on our comfort level.

What a gem of a place! Everything from food to service to ambiance was off the charts fantastic! Special shout out to our server Summer who put in our happy hour order in time so we could enjoy the fantastic deals they had on Happy hour! My highlight was this habenero sauce! Ask for it! It is fantastic and that orange and green "vinaigrette" have the food the perfect kick!
Service is great! My party of 6 had a lovely time and ate up.
