I arrived around 9am hoping to get food which was in compliance with my partner's new dietary restrictions (a turkey plate and green beans). Instead of being politely informed that plates were not available in the mornings or having this policy clearly marked on the menu, the female guest service representative (who was not wearing a name tag) seemed unable to understand what I wanted before rudely stating, "we can't do that right now." I asked about other options and was informed that they could only do sandwiches, tacos, and wraps. I understand that food service can be tough. However the employee demonstrated no sense of courtesy or professionalism in handling customer relations. Furthermore I don't understand why wraps and sandwiches can be made in the morning, but not a half pound of turkey on a plate. I felt that the staff did not want to serve me.

It's now a tradition for my work to pick up tacos from here on a Saturday morning. Everyone who works there is always fantastic and friendly. Service is always fast and the tacos are of course, always delicious. I've stopped in for lunch quite a few times as well, and the brisket with that spicy bbq sauce is phenomenal!

What happened Smokey Mo's? I thought maybe it was just me but I ran into a few other people who said their holiday turkey was awful.This was for Thanksgiving and luckily, we bought ham from HEB as well as a Smokey Mo's turkey. We followed the instructions provided, kept the turkey in the bag, and placed it in the oven.It wasn't just dry but tasted old and funky. It just so happened a couple of my neighbors and friends had similar experiences. They told me they were NEVER going to Smokey Mo's again and I gotta tell ya', it's hard to disagree.I sure hope this is a one off. I may use y'all again next year but I'm asking for a guarantee of satisfaction first. If it weren't for the HEB ham, Thanksgiving would've been a big failure.

Smokey MO’s, what did you do to the brisket? It’s sooo dry and dark, like it’s been sitting under a warming lamp for days. This has not happened before, so I’ll give you another try in a month. But I’m disappointed tonight.

This place deserves a 0 star but I couldn't give one because it's not possible. This places employee litteraly dropped our cups like 4 times while she was handing them to us. The employee also got my order wrong and gave me the wrong sandwich and made it spicy. This place's water was also out of order like how can the water be out of order?? it's WATER, and this place doesn't have fries, like what kind of restaurant doesn't have fries?? This place also overprices their food - we orders three sandwiches and it came out to $42. I suggest that you don't eat at this place unless you really want to be scammed.
