The beach bum theming, extensive landscaping, outdoor dance floor, and palapas at this bar and restaurant will make you feel like you are in the tropics. The drinks are well poured and the food is tasty. It is very typical bar type foods, but done well. If you are in the area and want to escape on an island vacation for a couple of hours, put on your Hawaiian shirt and pirate hat and spend the afternoon laying in a chair knocking back rum punches here.Parking: Parking is lined up in front of the restaurant and a little more on the sideKid-friendliness: There are no playgrounds or anything like that, but there is an extensive landscaped yard where kids can explore.
Very cool place to chill and talk. The food was great for a bar but just okay for a restaurant. I would say don’t go here and depend on the food carrying you through the night. Go here cause you want a cool place that can handle big families or small groups in a cool environment. I liked the chips and queso.

Parking: Our favorite place to go hang out. we live close to our favorite place here. Starting in April they have live music every Saturday night. Good people,good food, great vibes.. you will think your at the beach.

It was a cold day. I had been recommended to come here. The outside area was closed. In retrospect I suspect the guy that gave me the referral was thinking of a warm evening when there was a band there. No complaints about the food, but nothing we found to memorable either. As it was (because of the weather) we were in a small plastic wrapped patio and there were a couple of guys smoking at a table near us. Totally ruined the experience for us.

What a fun place?. As with so many places, service was a little slow due to the short staff-no one wants to work any more! Other than that, it’s a fun eclectic atmosphere ?. I highly recommend whenever you’re in the area?

Absolute hidden gem bringing the Caribbean to the cowboys. Very friendly atmosphere and lush vegetation. It makes you feel like you’re on vacation even if you’re just on a day trip. Some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had and they are on corn tortillas. The owners are wonderful so please go a little off the beaten path to pay them a visit, you won’t regret it!

Came here because of the good reviews but was disappointed. The waitress/bartender was not pleasant at all. I seen online that they had a brisket sandwich on the menu, which is what I wanted...the menu I was given didnt have that along with other things, making their menu very limited. The patty melt and cheeseburgers were ok. The atmosphere is nice but they need a more welcoming vibe/waiter that enjoys their job or at least acts like they like people.

We celebrated my daughters 21st birthday in the Islands at Toucan Jim’s with great food, cold drinks, and an island atmosphere. The service was excellent and the live music was fantastic! Thank you Toucan Jims making our family get together so special!
