Had lunch here Monday which is meatloaf special day. Service was good, and the meatloaf, green beans and squash was good as well. You also get complimentary dessert with the daily special! Good stop for lunch.

WATCH YOUR BILL CLOSELY! ASK FOR DETAILED RECEIPT AND CHECK IT OVER! Improper inflated prices were listed vs. menu prices or advertised prices; and, "add-ons" that were supposed to be included were added. There was around $10 more added to our last bill that was not supposed to be there, and when confronted, it took a lot to get it corrected. Looks like our last waitress was attempting to pad the bill, or someone was. BEWARE! Hopefully the owner is not responsible for this, as it is very deceptive, and I am sure most people do not even check their bill, but just pay it.Otherwise, the food is very good. Service is hit-or-miss based on who serves you. But if the bill is not honest, why should honest-working people spend their money there?

We were greeted with a friendly smile and received wonderful service! The waitresses Dawn and Jodie were so nice and helpful! On top of receiveing great service the food was delicious! I got the Nettie's homemade chicken salad which I highly recommend!! My husband got the fish and enjoyed the flavor of it. My kids shared a hamburger and the plate was wiped cleaned! So if your in the area please stop by and you will get a tasty homemade meal and enjoy the conversations with the waitresses on staff!

I love coming here, the waitresses are always so helpful and nice. This is a hidden gem for sure. Get the daily special and it comes with homemade cobbler! If your passing by, slow down and come on in. You won’t regret it.

I always cut through Chandler on my way to Tyler, and I told myself to try this place every time I passed it. I was not disappointed! I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes. The patty melt is on my top 3 for sure. But even better than the food, the staff is wonderful! Even though it was my first time to visit, I felt like an old friend that hadn't been by in a while. Tyler has some nice restaurants, but I'm stopping at Netties from now on!

This place is hit or miss, usually depending on who your server is or who answers the phone for a pick-up, and sometimes depending on the chef. The last few times we've been in the restaurant, they were out of several items. This tme I ordered carry out. I ordered and paid for a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. When I got home, there was no bacon and only 4 or 5 very small onion rings. My mother got a burger and chips. Her chips were very bland, no salt or anything. I spent $40 on this disappointing meal for two.

This place is normally really great, but we came in for dinner when it wasn’t even that busy because it was earlier in the evening, there were flies everywhere, the food took much longer than I would have expected given now not busy it was, and the sweet tea was barely sweet and the fried pickles were salted so heavily and over cooked that they were inedible. The wait staff also seemed especially checked out and not even paying attention to their general surroundings. After the person who was supposed to be checking us out helped two other people that walked up after me, someone else finally had to ask if I needed anything. Not sure if this has become the norm here, but we usually like this place so I’m hoping it was a one time poor experience and nothing more.

My Father and I went to lunch and we were the only table without food. When our food arrived the French fries and onion rings were cold. The service was well we had cold food, the employees were busy talking to each other.

This cute little restaurant will have a line out of the door at lunch. All the food is made from scratch using old recipes handed down to the current team. You can't go wrong but the classic southern dishes are really good. Have fun.

It was an ok meal. Nothing special or to rave about. I got the Bud Spud baked potato. The size was very large & the favor was good, but I wish the potato had been fresher. I could tell it had been baked either much earlier in the day or the day before & reheated. It was a little tough. It did come with a nice size, side salad that was very fresh & tasty. I also got a side order of the fried squash because I had read a review that mentioned how good it was. It was disappointing. It wasn’t crispy when it came out, it was kinda soggy & the breading was falling off & there was no seasoning. I added some salt & it was ok, I went ahead & ate it, but it could have been so much better. Also the huge fans over head were turned up so high that it cooled off our food very quickly so nothing was really hot & we were chilly the entire time. I would give them another try sometime, but I’ll order something completely different.

Talk about 'south your mouth'! We have tried Netties on two occasions now and will definitely be back a third time! Don't know where to start - so much on the menu and so many yummy things to talk about! I was lucky enough to go there for the Monday special which was meatloaf, 2 sides, a roll AND a dessert! I was even luckier that the veg of the day was black eyed peas! MmmmmMMMMM! I really liked the homemade chips too - crunchy, salty and cooked perfectly! I might've snitched a bite of my husbands mashed potatoes while he wasn't looking...and they were amazing too! Shhh. Next time I will definitely have to try the fried squash! Can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu. Especially the desserts! The apple cobbler was soooo good!! (As was my husbands peach cobbler!) Super friendly staff was a pleasant bonus to the whole experience! :)

This was my first visit. Firstly, Emily, our server, was so wonderful & enthusiastic. She seems to genuinely love her customers and her job. (Emily has the most beautiful turquoise eyes.) The "Porch Fries" were amazing. I ordered the grilled chicken salad but asked for the chicken to be smothered in grilled onions and mushrooms... wow! The chicken was marinated and so juicy. The salad did not even need the balsamic dressing. The juicy, flavorful chicken was more than enough to make the salad delicious. The cucumbers, tomatoes, cranberries, etc. were very fresh. Generous portions! You may need a to go box?.

We had THE BEST FOOD and incredible experience here at Nettie's!! Miss Patty was so very sweet and incredibly helpful! The service was wonderful and all her recommendations were so yummy!! We left feeling full and so happy!! We had the chicken fried steak and gravy with the grilled veggies and home made fries!! My mom had the baked potato and my son had the chicken fingers and we finished with a banana pudding that was to die for!! We would totally go back next time we are in town.

WOW! This is absolutely 5 star! This is a destination restaurant if in the area! I'm actually glad it isn't closer as I'd camp out at a table all day! It is really easy to find, lots of close up parking. Lots of meals were being done as take out, but dining in is the best option! The décor will keep you busy as there are tons of eye catching items on the walls and ceiling! It is bright, airy and full of delicious aromas! It is like Grandma and the Aunts opened up a country café! Before opening the menu, there were Banana pudding cups on the counter that had my taste buds begging! The friendliness of the staff was pure East Texas Charm! You would have thought I was a well liked cousin! The service will make you feel like royalty! The menu is full of pure East Texas delicacies! The menu, itself, is low calorie, but better starve a day or two before you order as very little of the dishes off that menu are low cal ;) I started with a salad and and had to get some fried mushrooms and chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Yes I WAS on a diet. I still managed to have a slice of chocolate meringue pie for desert, barely. The salad was fresh and cold. The ranch dressing was tangy and delightful. The chicken fried steak was real steak with a most tasty crunchy golden crust! The biscuits were to die for and had I ate another, it might have caused me to pop. The pie was better than those award winning ones of my aunts! Again, the service was exceptionally good! The prices were reasonable as well.
