The chicken fried steak was perfect. Gravy was good mashed potatoes were good and the okra was good. And for some reason the Coke from the fountain machine really stood out it was way better than any other fountain drink I've ever had not sure why but it was really good lol
Stopped during our road trip back home, and were so happy we did. The place looks like an old-style honkey tonk in a restaurant. The catfish is good-sized with tasty batter. Hubby ate every crumb of his chicken fried steak! Highly recommend including this place on your stop or if you are in the Waco area.

Stopped here as we were headed home from a track meet in Waco. Had the double meat hamburger with fries. Kids both had chicken strips with fries and okra. Wife had a CFS sandwich with okra. Everything was DELICIOUS!Very friendly staff. Thanks for the great food!
