“Came on a sunday evening. Sat at the bar. Service was prompt, polite and friendly. Bartender (richelle) made us nice margaritas.Food was okay. The salsas lacked flavor.Nachos were not worth the price. The tamale was not good. The enchilada (ground meat) lacked any spice.Lupe tortillas, sotos, Los cucos and mamacitas ... al local chains have better food for the price.“

“This place is great. The food is amazing. Soft breading and nice people running the place. But as soon I came in. I got greeted nicely but it seem like I was being rush to order. It seem very confusing if I pay on the spot or waited. It's very aesthetic here. It has colorful lighting but it's very hot inside. It seem to be the a/c was broken. I loved how the food came in less than 10 mins. But I don't understand the pricing. It's kinda too expensive for a new business.“

“They are an original authentic Mexican Restaurant. I have been going there since there I was A kid. They are also a family owned restaurant. Nena, The original owner with her husband loved the Dallas cowboys and there is alot of cowboys merchandise there. They also always have a movie playing.Kid-friendliness: They have great service to children. They even have chicken nuggets for themParking: Park in front of building or next to the building.“

“Family owned with owners on site. The basics (tacos, most enchiladas, fajitas, tamales) taste like good, traditional TxMx should and get 5 stars. It's not a fancy place, but it's comfortable and clean. We love that we can hear each other in conversation. We eat here or get our food to go often -- about once a week. Many of their specials are quite good; My fish taco was delicious. The shrimp in the shrimp taco may have been from the Gulf of Mx but didn't taste like it, and I don't like other shrimp; however, they said next time I can have another fish taco instead of shrimp. However, not everyone is as sensitive to the flavor of their shrimp as I am. I really didn't care for the spinach enchilada recipe. The traditional and strawberry margaritas were excellent. Our server was very nice, just new and learning the ropes.“

“Excellent service and excellent food. There isn't much atmosphere, but everyone was so attentive, it just didn't matter and the food was delicious, so it really did not matter.Vegetarian options: I just asked for my big taco salad to be vegetarian, and they made it.“

“I've lived here for 20 years and never tried it. Boy was I wrong. The Hippo taco was huge, flavorful and well balanced. The salsa Verde was bright without being overly spicy. What they called Pico de gallo, was a traditional salsa. It was easily the best salsa I've ever eaten. Can't wait to try more!“
