Honestly great food but Rip off in portions and price I spent 50 bucks on 3 sides and a smoked meat explosion to not get 50 bucks worth of food

After a very long day: driving 2 hours to College Station, 12 hours of work and 2 hours back to the Austin area, I stopped at Boomtown for my first meal at 9 pm!!! Yes I said 9, i did t have time all day!! I figured, let me get some BBQ, for a good meal as I drive home. Well, from their location to the on ramp of Hwy 6 is about a half mile... By the time I got to the bridge, 80% of it had gone out the window the part that I did it was basically bread onions and pickles. The brisket sandwich was more like the fat sandwich with the idea of brisket on it. I'm sure the meat is OK or at least decent but I'm gonna give it a bad review because the guy didn't have the decency to serve me meat maybe he likes fat therefore he should save it for himself. Instead of a briskit sandwich i had a fat sandwich.... Staff was nice.... But just lacked attention to what they serve

Overall it was really enjoyable, on par or even a little better than C&J. The only complaint I have is the brisket was not hot. Maybe it’s because we went kind of late, but I hate cold food. The flavor was good , I had the spicy sausage and my wife raves about the pulled pork sandwich. Just the temperature of my brisket is what stopped this from being a 5 star. Everyone was really nice and welcoming.

The chopped brisket was flavorful and juicy, and the kind of wet mess that makes you feel good about yourself while eating it. The mac and cheese had a rich silky sauce that included stone ground pepper... That was a bonus.Unfortunately, it isn't a perfect world in B-BBQ. Their BBQ sauce was weak, tasting much like a thinned out sweet balsamic vinegar instead of a savory sauce. Similarly, their coleslaw tasted like it was literally only chopped cabbage with a touch of sugar water.I went there because the first time was a stellar experience. The ball was dropped on this one. Do better, you're supposed to be the good guys.

Best BBQ chicken I have had!! I don't know what the glaze was but it was so good! BBQ sauce was good not sweet and not spicy just the right balance. Fairly priced and service was great! Will come again!

I ordered a chopped beef sandwich. It was really good and flavorful. The people were all nice and very attentive

These are the ribs that I was served before noon today, they convinced me to get a half rack and they were not cooked today, very clear that they were 1-2 days old and had been heated up, very VERY dry, also got two chicken halves the first half of as old as well, very VERY DRY and chewy could not eat this one AT ALL, the second chicken half was much better more juicy and I could tell it was cooked today but no flavor. This was my third attempt and was disappointed EVERY TIME. Please stop serving day old food to customers unless they request it at a discounted price

Easily the best value in college station that I have found. The G7 sandwich and the taco bomb are my personal favorites. Customer service is always top-notch as well. From being greeted as you enter the door till you leave, the staff is amazing. This is my new favorite spot in college station.

Tried it because it is new. Dry cold meat, unusual sauces, UN-spiced sides and kind of pricey. About the only nice thing I can say is that the people are really nice. I don't think I'll go back. I'm going to stick with the local BBQ places.

This place is new, but it has the best pork ribs in town. I've eaten the chop beef sandwich here and it was great, but it's pretty hard to mess up a chopped beef sandwich if you know anything about bbq. Today, I got a half rack of ribs and a half a smoked chicken for under twenty bucks. The ribs are some of the best I've ever tasted. Honestly. I want someone to eat those ribs and tell me they are not some of the best pork ribs they've ever had. I haven't even tried the chicken yet, but I'd do it all again for the ribs!

Brisket sandwich was requested with no sauce. Sadly it is dry and overly salty. Half chicken was pretty good. Boomer potato overall good, again very salty.

I want to see this local place thrive. They've got great flavor and a variety of ways to eat their BBQ. It's very casual and affordable. The orange jalapeno mustard sauce has a good kick and is great with their sausage. Their pulled pork isn't too sweet, and had good burnt ends and the brisket was still moist. I should have grabbed a picture of the inside. The only thing that didn't make sense was why they chose to decorate with Charles Manson's mug shot?Update:Thanks for explaining, sorry for confusion. Google failed us in the search.

My experience with Boomtown was fantastic. I was greeted by multiple employees when I entered and the service continued to be excellent throughout the entire experience. I ordered the Taco Bomb and I was more than impressed. The flavors were bold and blended so well. The price was extremely fair. I will be back to try many other things.

Great brisket and sausage but priced a little high. While I realize prices are up right now for meat, I think the cost has been passed on to the consumer maybe a little too much. Also, what's up with these runny, vinegar-based BBQ sauces? This is Texas folks. The other sauces are delicious though. I'll be back.
