This place was awesome! From the food to the service and environment! I got the fried pickles and the po-boy sandwich. Both were delucious and generous pirtions. I think Gabe was my server and he was very helpful and attentive.I also did a load of laundry. Erica was very helpful and kind and took great care of me. I'm not from the area, but if I was I'd become a regular. Highly recommended this establishment. Thank you!The panel circled in red shows all the washers and dryers so you can see when your clothes are done washing and drying. Very cool!

Okay. So let me tell you the story. In 1998, a gentleman by the name of Michael Lair opened up a restaurant, Harvey Washbangers. It's amazing when you can do all your laundry and can eat. Cause you know, us females, we do laundry, we get moody, we need food. You can go right through the door into the restaurant and go ahead and start getting your food. You don't only get to get food. They have 8 taps which they have on keg. When their keg changes their flavor changes. They have different flavors that come in rounds. And they also have seasonal flavors for their beer. They also have an amazing staff. These people were very accommodating. The food was amazing, and each and every employee that we had anything to do with was very kind to us. I have to give them a 5 star review. They deserve it. You should go and visit them. The current assistant manager Paul Fitzsimon would love to see you. They aren't hard to find 1802 Texas Avenue South, College Station right across from 711. And they have 2 sister stores the Stella cafe and Clementine's kitchen. If you ever get a chance to go to them too. Thank you, staff of Harvey Washbangers..

Great found. Service always excellent. Dog friendly patio. All the food were delicious. Great chicken fingers with gravy. Best sweet potato fries and the giant pretzels! So worth it? Not to mention great price, good quality, fresh and just awesome all around.

I usually get the cream cheese jalapeno burger and it’s been good every time but I was swayed by the bahn mi sandwich today and I’m glad I tried it. Perfect blend of sweet and spicy and crunch of the vegetables. If you like vermicelli bowls, it’s that without the noodles. So good!!

Burger was great. Took a star off cause there was yellow paint in the dryer I put my clothes in ?‍♂️ Gus was an amazing bartender though. He really killed it.

Close your eyes and imagine a delicious taco salad. Lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, taco meat etc. forget it. That’s not what you’re going to get. I got about a handful of lettuce. No cheese, no pico, about 2 tablespoons of burnt crumbles of meat. Not seasoned as taco meat. Just a terrible version of taco salad for almost $13. Not happy at all. Do better.

Tonight (December 16th, 2023), we decided to throw our dog Aggie a birthday party at Harvey Washbangers. They served her an exquisite steak (at least that’s what we tell her, please don’t tell her anything differently), delicious spring water, and a mound of vanilla ice cream derived straight from the bean as well as candied strawberries. When it came time to sing her happy birthday, they gathered around the table and barked to the tune of the birthday anthem. One of the waiters told me (not ours) that he aspired to be like Aggie one day, and Aggie loved the compliment because most people do. Harvey Washbangers was a fine dining experience for Mrs. Aggie, and it can be for you too. As for me, I would die for Harvey Washbangers. You’re welcome.

The laundry side is great and the lady that’s always there is always very sweet and helpful, however the customer service on the restaurant side isn’t the best. The servers aren’t very friendly and they take forever to even address you’re there. We waited 30 minutes after we were told they weren’t open yet. We came back after changing over our laundry and tried to sit down again after they had opened and waited over 20 minutes before deciding to go somewhere else to eat while our clothes were drying. We used to love coming here but customer service seems to be slipping
