Surprisingly good! Service is amazing and food is better than Olive Garden. I am not going to compare it with a high end Italian place or "original" Italian place, but for what it offers it's really tasty. I have tried the pizza which is kind of like New York style, eggplant Parmesan which is better than Olive garden's one and other appetizers. Plus it's usually not that full when you go so you get your food pretty quickly

Had a family gathering of around 20 the last week of April and service was terrible. Had to constantly request simple items such a drink refills, serving utensils, coming in to bus the tables, etcFood was placed in the serving trays and was not kept heated after requests to have the warmer turned on.I feel a two star review is justified. At least the bread was good.

Terrible experience. Had to wait 10 minutes at the door just to see any movement in the restaurant and to be seated by the hostess. She was yelling across the restaurant constantly. The waitress Anastasia was sweet, and generally attentive. The food however was expensive and just plain gross. It was almost unedible. We ordered a salad with added chicken, it came out beautifully presented but the chicken tasted like charcoal and mildew. The lasagna came out on a hot plate but the center was cold. The eggplant was flimsy, bland, and slimy. Couldn't finish either dish. Hats off to the waitress for keeping a smile on her face...

Visited Carinos yesterday. Waited to be seated. Nobody noticed us standing there. Should have been a sign to just leave. Food quality was ok. But we didn't get what we ordered. But we didn't send it back, because I was afraid it would continue to get worse. It was hot in the restaurant and filth on the wall at the booth we sat in. Cocktails were terrible. Had to ask for bread, salt & peppers and Parmesan. Sadly we won't be going back. $70 for 2 people to not enjoy a meal isn't in our budget.

Don’t get delivery or takeout. Each time we ordered Alfredo for delivery or take out we received just pasta, no sauce. And the shrimp Alfredo, you can barely find the shrimp there is so few. I know they do better if eating in but for takeout & delivery, horrible.

Loved it!! Had a mango margarita, then Italian nachos as an appetizer, after that I had lasagna and chicken parmesan for dinner. Both were delicious! I finished off with some awesome tiramisu for dessert! The service was on point and super friendly. I left feeling great!! Thanks for an awesome dinner! I'll be back very soon!

We love Johnny Carino’s…..was our first time at the College Staion location…..very nice ……our waiter was over the top on service…..and the tip left reflected it! Food was good as always!

Great experience, I have been ordering takeout here quite frequently. The hostess/takeout person (Jake) I believe is his name, is absolutely great. He is one of the biggest highlights of my experience. Defiantly goes above and beyond to make sure my order is made to my satisfaction especially with how picky my family is with their meals haha.

My wife went here for our Valentine's day dinner. We have always had good experiences in other cities but College Station is by far the worst. Our waiter returned three times to confirm our order. The salad never made it to our table and when our entrees finally arrived my wife's order was incorrect. Although they hurried and provided my wife's order, it still took so long my dinner was cold. The manager made good on the dinner but it spoiled our evening out for Valentine's day.Given other choices for Italian food I would opt for someplace else if I were you.

To the management's credit,seating was restricted due to lack of warm bodies.Speaking of warm bodies, probably the only warm humans in the restaurant were cooking. The heating system was broken, and had been for several days. The missing star is due to COLD! Let your customers know before they are seated that the building may not be comfortable.

I went to Carinos tonight for the first time in a long time and I’m so glad I did! Charis was my server and she did an amazing job! She had such a fun personality, was prompt on refills, and answered any questions we had! Will definitely be back and requesting to sit in her section next time!

The hubby and stepped out for a lunch date on a Saturday afternoon. Our waitress Andi did a great job and the manager was quite the bartender - loved the margaritas. Even though they were short staffed today, the quality of our food and the service did not show it! Chicken Parmigiana, Italian Nacho’s and the Jalapeño cheese raviolis were so yummy! Kudos to Johnny Carino’s!

My sister recommended that my husband I come to Carino's while we were visiting our son in College Station, and we had a wonderful first-time experience! The service was fast and the food was just amazing, especially the Spicy Shrimp and Chicken! Our server Andi was very kind and attentive. We did not have to ask for refills or for more bread. She is wonderful at her job! We will be back next time we are in town.
