My wife & I took a drive to College Station, to shop my favorite resale shop & have dinner. We used to go to Tad's in Tomball, but that location has closed. I noticed that they built a new one in College Station, so when we're out there, we go to that one. We have been to that location a few times now & they have always done a good job. She got her usual Surf & Turf. I ordered the Cajun Catfish. Her steak was cooked perfectly, medium well. My catfish was good, as I expected. My only complaint was that the prices went up significantly. I'm not putting them down for that. The prices have gone up everywhere! The portions were good and we received our food pretty quickly. The service was also very good. We will definitely go eat there again whenever we're in the area. Tad's is a good option for Cajun food & they have always made a good steak!

Restaurant was clean, food was good. Service seemed like they were a little short on staff. Charged a fee for paying with a credit card. Seriously folks absorb that into your cost of doing business. Doubt we'll return.

Good for something different. I think everyone makes their gumbo a little different and theirs was different for me, definitely spicy and good but not my favorite gumbo. The stuffed shrimp appetizer was delicious. I could have just eaten that for lunch and been full.

We had great food Saturday night everything was so fresh spent quit a bit Sunday decided to order take out and was disappointed with how the portions where and the crab was dried out looked like it was taken off of someone’s plate and thrown in the Togo box. Was also missing items in order…always check you

Spent 100.00 for unseasoned, tasted like day old steak. If you're charge 35.00 and up for steak at least season it. Steak season,salt, pepper etc... even some steak sauce of some sort! Most likely won't be back.

Great food and service as always. My husband and I had our date night at TaD’s last night he had a Cheeseburger and I had the Seafood Trio with the Fried Alligator appetizer . Great as always hotter what we choose ❤️ wish I had remembered to take pictures of our plates.
As a person with concealed weapons license, I found myself uncomfortable seeing a person drinking at the bar with a pistol in full view. I discussed with the manager who rudely told me it was none of my business. I go to Tad's quiet often and last manager advised this person not to carry in bar but apparently the new manager has decided it is fine. It is stupid for anyone who is drinking with others to have a weapon and even more so in a public bar or restaurant.

Regular (not stuffed) Shrimp PoBoy was STUFFED full of shrimp. Hard (messy) to eat but delicious, as were the fries. Husband’s steak was great, too. Waitress was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Really disappointing. I ordered a Poboy to play it safe for my first time ordering here. Bread tasted old, fish was cold and no flavor. Hush puppies were just okay but nothing tasted cajun

We sat for an hour and our food never came. Waitress very nice but where was the manager? She didn't come to table until we canceled our order and I suggested as a business owner that good customer service would be for her to talk to us. She offered a discount if we came back tomorrow. No discount for the drinks we ordered today though. Needless to say we will not be back. What a shame. Could have been handled on their part so much better.

So good! And SO MUCH FOOD!!! The sampler appetizer is enough for a whole meal ad leftovers for a whole other meal. Love the blackened shrimp alfredo and the crawfish half and half. Fried green beans are so amazing!! Staff is very friendly. Love it!!
