What an unfortunate experience my friends and I had. The food was honestly terrible and when we explained why, the service tanked. It isn't the servers fault the food was bad and as someone from the industry I always (and did) tip a minimum of 20%, but deciding you want to ignore a table because they had issues with the food is just unacceptable. Furthermore the "manager" came over to ask about the food and seemed to not actually care. Not even an apology, just "okay" with a confused look as he walked away. Too many bad things all rolled into one. Do not go to there.

Great little restaurant that's not your standard steak or seafood place. Items on the menu are creative, artful, and very tasty.

Chef Point was the perfect place for my birthday dinner. We made reservations ahead of time and our numbers went a over the initial count (20 people). They were very accommodating to the extra numbers we hadn't accounted for. We sat on the patio and was the only party out there, which was perfect since we had small children that could play around without bothering other guest. Our server was transparent about them being short staffed, however we never felt a gap in service at all. The food was delicious! I had fried green tomatoes and salmon pisatta, both were great! Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the atmosphere. I now understand why one of the couples there says Chef Point is their favorite restaurant. We will be back for sure!

Delicious food, and for a reasonable price! A must stop on my yearly visit for work. You won't be disappointed! I recommend the crab stuffed chicken!

The Nigerian man and his wife were so welcoming here! It is somewhere you must go and eat! This black owned business boasts amazing American eats from salads, sandwiches, pastas and more! We went for lunch specials and I got the chicken piccata and my friend got the chicken and waffle (both lunch portion sizes, which are smaller than dinner). I got the half bottle of Ruffino prosecco and my friend got the Watermelon margarita! I highly recommend!

Amazing place with really kind manager and friendly staff. We actually went to the old location in Watauga on accident, and were late for our reservation. But Chef Point allowed us to move our reservation later with no issue and even gave us a free desert!! Really just the kindest people. The food was also amazing. Absolutely recommend!

OMG the taste was 5star and was so beautifully presented. The portions were great. And the BANANA PUDDING reminded me of home.

I usually don't like to post negative reviews but the service was terrible and the food was just ok. It was our first visit and definitely will not be coming again.Food - had the Bloody Mary Beast and a Chicken Ceasar Salad. If I had a wishlist of things to improve on the Mary - I would grill the green onion (I don't see eating a whole raw green onion with my Mary), spice up the Mary mix (it just tastes like plain tomato juice), use deep fried chicken tenders instead of the breast or at least brine those breasts before flying (not enough salt or batter), and ditch the pickled okra for pickled green beans instead. And 2 oz of Vodka in what I think was a 32 oz glass just isn't enough alcohol to juice ratio. Overall, I wouldn't spend $40 on it but it was ok, so I would buy it for $25. It's more presentation then anything else. The Ceasar dressing needed more acid and the croutons were stale. But otherwise it was pretty decent.Service - absolutely terrible. Food was dropped and that was the end of all service. Had to flag down who I believe may have been the owner to cash out during a very slow time of the day.Atmosphere - pretentious. The owner has a cut out of himself standing by the kitchen, apparently so people can take photos with it.... we found this to be very bizarre. A fancy Bently parked out front and no friendly staff.... those $40 Bloody Mary's must be paying off. Conclusion - There are way too many amazing restaurants in the area to warrant a second visit here. But we can finally mark this one off the list.

Great nachos and wings, bloody Mary.Service has declined since the last time we went there. Long delay in the waiter coming to check on us and sometimes the waiter forgot to put in our order. Waiter told us they are short staffed so can't really blame them.
