Apologies in advance, I am doing this out of desperation until a case is complete and filed. My elderly father is not doing well and an employee of this company and has said he is not doing well, I’ve let management know since a tragic event last year up until yesterday when I sent management one of multiple voicemails. He’s not been at the restaurant or at he and my late mother’s former home when he’s supposed to. He has medical conditions, has asked for help, I no longer no what to do but take legal action and that takes time unfortunately. I fully understand this may 100% be no fault of management as he was not at work or home last Sunday. Again, he’s elderly. The drive is very far and he’s gotten worse over the last 8 months since the passing of my mother who was years younger than him. There is no need for firing or even I’m sure a lack of FMLA options and there are free services for help. He’ll come to me crying for help and then changes. I sincerely apologize to management in advance because last night was the first night he told me he likes to lie and I suppose it’s possible he’s lying as well, but ultimately, he’s elderly, been through trauma. I’m his only family. I just got off the phone with him and told him I don’t know what else to do right now and I am concerned he might be unwell and the restaurant has zero reason to create or get involved in something that will harm their reputation and business. Creating a case takes time. I lost my mother after 3 weeks of not speaking to her. Estranged relationship or not, this is my father and I’m concerned. Especially after seeing he wasn’t at work or my parent’s home on Sunday evening. I had no one to contact to know if he was alive or not. Him telling me he likes to lie last night is more erratic behavior that I’ve never seen. I’ve asked for help and I don’t want to post this either, but I won’t be able to live with myself when something happens to him. Taking that drive he takes when he wasn’t at home or work at night when he has multiple physical ailments, trauma and grief of losing your younger wife of 40 years absolutely would push anyone over. The edge. Management PLEASE let him file FMLA or any options. Surely there is a place he can work closer to his home. I understand he’s not your concern but until I can get more assistance I am at this point begging for help. Not him getting fired or not working. If he’s also not working there, just let me know and I’ll make adjustments to case request. He’s aware of this post and told me to move forward which also makes no sense for anyone. He’s about to be 73, has never acted this erratically, has gotten no help and yesterday asked for help multiple times which I sent documentation to management. Please assist him with FMLA options. Please.

Food and service were great! I wish the ambiance was nicer, especially the bar area…it definitely needs an upgrade/remodel. Try the calamari, it was exceptional and loved our server!

Ruggeris restaurant is a classic Italian restaurant with a great staff that treats everyone very well. The owner and his daughter go above and beyond for their customers and will not settle for anything less than the best in service and quality of food. I highly recommend them. Keep up the good wor.

Food excellent. Atmosphere great, low light, but enough to read menu. Service impeccable by the team of all 3 servers working together. Escargot was several pieces as on menu in pasta shells with good broth and balance of homemade cheese filling. Specials of the day were in similar price range to menu items, and the red snapper was wonderful, bright and top seared moist with garnish of veggies and a block of scalloped potato and spinach done just right. Basket of bread was refilled without asking and water and tea glasses never got very low. My schedule was a bit tight and they fit perfectly. Could happily spend a couple hours here for the broad variety on the menu and ability to talk to your party. Reservations for a larger than 4 group, or busy times may be helpful, crowd started filling in at 6:30 even on a Monday night. *offered several Berry soufflés for the night, sounded wonderful, but I was short timed. Also one of the few to have Spumoni on the menu. Have to come back and explore the menu, expecting top notch on everything.

Ruggieri’s in Colleyville is not just a restaurant, it’s an authentic Italian Family experience. As a Texas transplant in the late 80’s from m the Northeast (Stratford, CT) its a challenge finding REAL Italian food. They make FOOD an art in terms of quality and service. The menu and selections are always varied and the staff and owners are sooooo hospitable offering suggestions for appetizers + wine pairing. SPECTACULAR = (from a devout foodie).

If you were to look up the phrase "classic old-school Italian ristorante", there would be a picture of this lovely place. We went there tonight to celebrate my wife's b-day. We were seated by a gentleman who actually turned out to be our servers had...Jani (Johnny). Very nice place...live piano music, linen tablecloths, etc. We split a house salad and it was excellent. The bread was fresh and VERY good. My wife had lasagna. It was different from any lasagna she's ever had (and it's her go-to dish at all Italian restaurants), but she said it was quite good. I opted for the broiled redfish special. Perfectly cooked. Jani brought her out a birthday surprise....a delectable chocolate mousse cake with a candle. The perfect end to a terrific meal. Thanks Jani!!

Rude owner and a terrible experience. I came with my family on a Thursday after work to try this place out. We were going to go to Perry's but the parking lot looked busy so we decided decided to give this local colleyville spot a try. I wasn't expecting much considering it's in a strip mall next to a hot tub store and Sherwin Williams but why not give it a try? I was dressed in jeans but professional with a nice silk blouse, heels, and earrings. My husband was in khakis and loafers. We stood by the host table and nobody even came to the front to seat us. The servers walked past us multiple times, kept making eye contact, looking annoyed that we had dared to walk through the front door wearing jeans and bringing children, and nobody could be bothered to acknowledge we were even standing there. Everybody in the restaurant was staring at us like we didn't belong there. I've lived in Colleyville for 10 years and have NEVER had such a rude and uncomfortable experience at a restaurant. Another couple walked in behind us and clearly knew the owner/manager and he promptly sat them. When I went up to him to inquire about a table he was not only unfriendly but he looked me up and down and clearly found me lacking in some way and he told me they didn't have any when I could CLEARLY see numerous open tables. I pointed to several open tables and he just said no. His attitude and the whole place was just classist and pretentious. What rude behavior. My family makes a point to support local Colleyville restaurants and we will not be supporting this one.

My wife and I were having a date night. We loved the old location before the building was destroyed by fire. Our first time at current location. The ambience was wonderful. From the bread & olive oil to the lobster Thermidor and chicken parmigiana, it was perfect. Our waiter was incredible attentive and knowledgeable. We finished with key lime pie & tiramisu. Start to finish the evening was perfect. Thank you for a superb evening.
