Great food. I had the steak perfectly cooked as ordered and seasoned exceptionally well. The potatoes and veggies were done well, and the portions were perfect. I had the hummus special as an appetizer. The hummus flavor was great, but the Peta bread was left a bit wanting. I highly recommend it and will return the next time I come through Columbus.

A most wonderful atmosphere with the friendliest and helpful staff. Food is delicious and there are some unusual delicacies such as their special cauliflower entrée for vegans that makes the most wonderful appetizer for us meat eaters.

Magnolia Society is a sophisticated jewel set in the most wonderful little town of Columbus, off I 10 in Colorado County. The ambience is distinguished by the beautiful 1800 home that is decorated with an eclectic and fanciful imagination. The food is five star and the bartender Hali, can mix any drink to your specific taste buds It's a must if you're in the area or want to venture out from Houston for a special evening.

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant, and loved it. The building was once a hotel in the early 1900’s, and has been restored BEYOND IMMACULATELY into a beautiful restaurant. My wife loved their chicken strips, and I thoroughly enjoyed their shrimp.Alexus, who was our waitress, was incredible. Her recommendations for menu items were spot on, and we greatly appreciated that. The manager (who was wearing a cap, but I didn’t get her name) was outstanding; she was the type of manager I would want running my restaurant if I owned one. She was very cordial and incredible with the customers, was very professional, and seemed to be on top of everything with regards to running the restaurant smoothly and efficiently. All the customers we noticed seemed happy and filled with enjoyment, which is likely due to the outstanding manager and staff members, such as Alexus, who worked great as a team. Both Alexus and the manager were knowledgable about the building’s history, which was quite interesting.They also have an outdoor patio, which had a really good live band playing on the Saturday (2/24/24) we were there.

We found this restaurant online before making a trip from Houston to San Antonio. We are happy to report that we were very pleased with the entire experience. The food was delicious and the restaurant is beautiful! You typically do not find restaurants like this in small towns. Do yourself a favor the next time that you are in the area of Columbus TX and try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
