Would I return? YesTraveling thru, I needed a meal for the evening, and of the limited restaurants that showed up in my search results, most were Mexican; and I didn't want Mexican - that can be had in nearly any township. I opted for this little place on the square's peripheral. The building is an old 1890s ish structure, and the interior is from yesteryear, also....kinda neat! Very unassuming, though.I was promptly greeted and served! ??I ordered the Pasta Carbonara; it was nice and very sizeable portion! This restaurant does NOT ACCEPT CARDS "cash" only or maybe check.

Parking: I felt like I wasn't welcomed and bothersome. Other than that, the food was alright.

I really don't enjoy giving back bad reviews, Monday night isn't a good time to go to Star Beau's. We ordered Chicken Fried steak, It was too hard to eat, Partial Burnt, ordered okra, it was burnt, Bread came out burnt and hard, French fries tasted bad,Beau, the ( chef)said next time don't order hard food, I Didn't know chicken fried steaks were supposed to be Burnt and Hard,!All this for $35.There's not going to be a Next Time with His Attitude, I wasn't asking for it to be free, maybe a discount, But Star Beau's is needing work on inside, moldy sagging Ceiling , an owner needs attitude adjustment

I got the Chicken Salad Sandwich on a toasted Sourdough Bun with Chips. Possibly the best chicken salad I’ve ever had. Friendly staff. Cash only establishment.

4 out of 5 entrees were very good. Homemade pies and cheesecake were very good. All foods are cooked from scratch, causing longer wait times. Overall, a very good dinner!

One of the places I would stop by when I worked in the area for a good burger. They also always have homemade pies on hand and are generous with their portions. If you're passing through or visiting just be aware that they don't take card.

This is the best place in Comanche, Texas to eat. The service was excellent and the chicken fried steak is one of the best in the state. Large portions and cooked fresh.

A local had recommended this place to us and we really looked forward to it but overall the service, atmosphere and food choices/quality needs improvement.

I drive through Comanche often, finally stopped here. Bacon cheeseburger was well above average as was their salad. It’ll be my first choice in Comanche so I’ll be back. Staff/owners (?) were friendly too.

Great local place. I've never had to wait very long(less than 15 minutes) and I've been at least 5 times. I love the carbonara and you can't forget to save room for a piece of chocolate pie.
