It was pretty crowded and busy. The store parts really interesting they've got interesting things to buy that would be a little knick knacks or whatnot. The food was decent I mean it was pretty good for what it was, it came out a little longer than we expected to wait but, then again it was busy when we went. I would not recommend this for people who are develop anxiety and crowded areas.

This location has friendly and courteous servers but, that's the only thing I enjoyed about my visit. To start and believe me I know it was Saturday morning so I know the kitchen was quite busy but we waited extra time that our waitress came to inform us that our food was coming up soon at least 3 times. Once our food did arrive everything about the flavor was void cause it all was bland. From the Gravy for the biscuits to the hash brown casserole. They only Good thing were the soft, warm and fluffy biscuits. I don't know if being busy is the reason but, I'd want to enjoy my meal especially at a fancy restaurant like this. ?

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Cracker Barrel, first time at this location. I like the gift shop, and service was good too. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was disappointed that it isn’t what it used to be. The cream gravy was good but the meat looked and tasted like a pressed hamburger patty with a crust. The green beans were good and the fried okra was just okay. My partner had the grilled chicken tenders and they had a very good flavor! I’d go back to Cracker Barrel but I won’t get chicken fried steak again!

We came in on a Friday night about an hour before closing. After being seated and asking questions about the items on the menu, we ordered the fried chicken dinner and the fish fry, special of the day. To make a long story short, the bowl of soup was a cup of soup. The cornbread was hard and overcooked. The fried chicken dinner was actually the “homestyle chicken“ which is totally different. Everything was room temperature except the chicken, the steak fries and the coleslaw. When we noticed that the chicken didn’t have bones, we questioned the server who confirmed that we had the wrong meal. She brought the manager over who was very businesslike and told us we should’ve said something earlier when they could’ve changed it. She decided she wanted to take the soup off the bill. She had no compassion.Between the wrong food, the cold food, and the managers “matter of fact” attitude, they have lost two customers, both in the restaurant and in the gift shop.

I often go to CB just for the shopping. And in fact on this latest trip, I purchased one of the rocking chairs routinely seen on the porches. The lady that checked me out even helped load it into my car. What a great Team they have there at 'the Barrel'.
