Been meaning to come here when I pass through Conroe and finally did. I was thinking it was going to be so cute but it was a run of the mill diner where the outside looks better than the inside. There was trash and food on the floor, some dirty tables, and old feeling for the decor. Just needs some upkeep and updating. Food was okay and definitely needed more seasoning and/or flavor. It took a bit for anyone to come to our table and once we put in our order, our waitress forgot some of our items. Glad I visited but nothing makes me want to go back. Try it once and see what you think!

2nd time there in a week. Ordered the BLT w/ potato soup. Not 1 complaint! Soup was fullfilling and hearty. If your in the mood for something light and refeeshing. This is a place to try. Oh, and their blueberry lemon cake ia to die for.

Disappointed lately..worst experience ever!!! Chicken fried steak is a joke..tiny steak all batter..Cheeseburger saturated in mayonnaise. Couldn't eat top bun at all. Fried okra would break a tooth..ridiculous hard okra..Come on Whistlestop Cafe!!You can do better!!
