The people that had owned this place must have sold out and moved on. I have been a customer of Van Thong for about 20 years and had always loved the food and service that I had received. Until I called to order a delivery and got the beef soup and beef fried rice. After I got the meal and opened it, I found that the beef was almost raw. I don't mean under cooked. I mean raw. I called up to ask about it and they said they did it that way because they expected me to microwave it to cook it. I was then told that they would no longer continue with the delivery service that they had been known for. It's a shame that the restaurant has new owners because I will never order from them again.

1 word AMAZING! Seriously some of the best pho I have had and I have tried a lot! The broth is so yummy! I also had the eggrolls and the rangoon. Absolutely amazing. The service was great! I ordered and had my food within 5 minutes. The staff, Emily, was so nice. I definitely recommend this place and will be back! Thank you Van Thong and staff and fantastic job!
Van Thong has made an amazing transformation! The entire establishment, including staff, has been elevated to a higher level. The food is better, the staff is like talking with family, and the overall quality of the restaurant has improved, and most importantly, the price is more than reasonable! I would go everyday if it were possible and I recommend Van Thong to as many people as I am able. ?

We normally visit this place once a month well we haven’t been there in about 2 months or so we went in tonight and what a mess it was the reception couldn’t understand what item I wanted even after googling photos and showing her. She was very sweet and nice but it was very hard and overwhelming communicating to her what I wanted. I ordered egg drop soup and a fried rice no meat in it. The egg drop soup was delicious however the fried rice was suppose to be a large and the rice is normally browned with eggs in it (well not this time) it was absolutely shocking and disgusting.

They must have switched owners again, and not for the better. Prices went up, food quality went down. Spring roll soggy, chicken tastes funny, had only a few bites and threw the rest away. Will not return.

This place is no good. It used to be great with amazing egg rolls and everything. Since they have switched up the menu the food is terrible. On top of that it says they deliver but when you try to order they say only pickup. Overall just so disappointed. I think it’s now the worst in Conroe.
