I was really excited to try this place but there was a few things that threw me off. The first is their hours are posted one way but they dont actually follow their open hour's schedule. Seems like they show up when they feel like it. The second thing is it was not sanitary. & im Puerto Rican and Dominican so I know how it is on the island when you're at your tia house but this is a BUSINESS not someones house cooking. She passed me my food while licking her fingers and eating an alcapurria .... I was disgusted to say the least but my food was bagged already. Then the worst part is EVERYTHING WAS BURNT. my alcapurria literally looked like long pieces of poop because it was burnt. Either that or the cooking oil was extremely old and hasnt been changed in a while but they were black and had a disgusting burnt taste. The empanada was burnt as well but at least somewhat edible. I got the mangu plate and it was good but greasy & again the cheese and sausage was burnt. Im sad to make this review but they need to work on a few things because I was excited to have a puerto Rican Dominican food place nearby.....

Saw a pic that someone posted here and went to try it. I was not disappointed, presentation was just as good as the food?. Even the side salad tasted fresh. I didn't even stop to take a picture. The rice and peas was so good and not to greasy and so was the chicken. Wish I visited sooner , I hope the service will continue to not disappoint cause good affordable food is hard to find now a adays even in restaurants.
