After frequent visits to Chowrasta (over 50 times), my recent visit compelled me to leave this review. While the food has been decent in the past, my recent experiences have been increasingly disappointing. Despite understanding that Indian cuisine requires time to prepare, the decline in food quality and service at Chowrasta, claimed as "the first Indian drive-through eatery," is undeniable. My last visit was awful. I placed an order and then made 1 change to the order, less than 2 minutes after initially placing it. While waiting in the drive-thru, I overheard mean remarks from the cook, who seemed not happy by the modification. The other staff (owner, manager?) then told the cashier to close the window to shield their comments. I was told to wait 20-25 mins, and I waited for around 40 minutes at the window, which was fine since nobody was behind me. It was only when 2 other cars showed up behind me that my food came, and upon returning home, I discovered that my food was undercooked with raw spots in both the chicken and paneer. This blatant disregard for food safety and customer satisfaction is ridiculous. I would have preferred a longer wait for properly cooked food rather than being served something potentially hazardous. Chowrasta's declining food quality and disregard for customer well-being reflect a lack of ethics and care. It's disheartening to witness such a decline in both service and food standards.
