Chopped steak was a small hamburger patty and overcooked. Pretty paltry portions. Others had better looking orders than I did. Service was good and the restaurant was clean.

I am new to the coppers cove area .. and me and my husband recently went to lil Tex restaurant and waited literally 30 mins at a table and no one offered us drink or asked us if we’d like to order anything .. we were completely ignored by the servers and ended up leaving .. I’ve never experienced this much lack of customer service

Fantastic chicken fried steak. Friendly atmosphere but it needs to be remodled. Great food but I won't take people visiting there because the booths are ripped and dirty looking. The bathroom needs to be remolded and repairs and painting the walls is needed.

Spent a week in Texas. This is the best restaurant I ate at. Great food. Great service.Kid-friendliness: I have a very picky eater. The waitress let him try some of the Mac and cheese before committing to it. Great experience.

Best breakfast in Copperas Cove. We rotate between Lil-tex and Something in Between restaurant.
The staff there are so friendly. I just recently started going there a few mornings a week after work. They now know my name and pretty much know my order unless I switch it up on them. lol The customers are also very friendly. Just love everything about this place.
